Obituary:
Edna M. Netzler, New London, 95, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2007, at St. Joseph Residence in New London. Edna was born on July 6, 1911, to the late Otto and Tillie (Hensel) Graupman. On Sept. 27, 1933, Edna married Lawrence Netzler in New London. He preceded her in death in 1985. Edna was a lifetime resident of New London. She worked as a waitress for Miller's Restaurant and By's Ice Cream Parlor. She loved to crochet afghans and watch Brewers baseball games.
Edna is survived by a daughter, Patricia (Roy) Beyer, Winneconne; grandchildren, Lori (Rick) Wisniewski, Cabot, Ark.; Susan (Gilbert) Hill, Pine River; Thomas (Deirdre) Beyer, Hingham, Mass.; David Beyer, Madison; and Paul Beyer, Sterling, Va; her great-grandchildren, Amy and Abby Wisniewski, Andrew and Eric Hill and Emma and Elizabeth Beyer.
Besides her parents and husband, Edna is preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Graupman.
Funeral services for Edna will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2007, at 11 a.m., at St. Joseph Residence Chapel in New London, with the Rev. John Schewe officiating. Burial will be in the Floral Hill Cemetery in New London. Friends may call at St. Joseph Chapel on Tuesday, from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at St. Joseph Residence and Heartland Hospice staff for the care they gave to Edna.
