    Caroline M. Rettler, 85, Black Creek, passed away Nov. 25, 2007, in Appleton. She was born on June 8, 1922, to the late Arnold and Mary (Klapperick) Stephani. On June 6, 1942, Caroline was united in marriage to the late Milo Rettler. He preceded her in death on May 10, 2003. Together they farmed for 17 years in the Town of Black Creek. She left the farm in 1960 and entered private business with her husband running R & R Lanes in Black Creek for 25 years, retiring in 1984. Milo preceded her in death on May 10, 2003. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Black Creek and the Christian Mothers. Caroline cared for the prayer garden at the church for many years. Caroline enjoyed walking, especially with her favorite dog, Mickee. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother. Her true love was her family and she will be missed by many.
    She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Terry (Sandy) Rettler, Black Creek; Sam (Mary) Rettler, Kaukauna; Bill (Maryann) Rettler, Black Creek; nine grandchildren, Paul, Todd, Melissa, Jaime, Brad, Tracy, Chad, Robby and C.J. She is further survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
    In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Leo and Ray Stephani; and five sisters, Pauline Weyenberg, Isabelle Fries, Marcella Rettler, Dorothy Martzahl, and Helen Murphy.
    Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007, at 4 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Black Creek with Fr. Theodore Hendricks officiating. Visitation will take place from 2 p.m. until the time of services at the church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Parish Cemetery.

Milo (son of Rettler, Nicholas F. and Krausa, Catherine Margaret) was born 28 Jul 1919, Black Creek, Outagamie, Wisconsin, USA; died 10 May 2003, Seymour, Outagamie, Wisconsin, USA; was buried , St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Black Creek, Wisconsin, USA.     Black Creek - Terry Lee Rettler age 74 passed away at his home on March 14, 2018.
    Terry was born August 30, 1943, the first child of Mile and Caroline (Stephani) Rettler. Terry was a 1961 graduate of Seymour High School. One June 24, 1967, he was united in marriage to Sandy Kitzman. Terry worked at O.J. Boldt Construction, served on the Black Creek Village board for 15 years and served in the Army National Guard. Terry was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour, WI.
    Terry will be sadly missed by his wife of 50 years, Sandy; son, Todd (Melissa) Rettler; daughter, Tracy (Chris) Prilepp; granddaughters: Brianna Prilepp, Kira and Hannah Rettler; grandson, Braeden Prilepp; brothers: Sam (Mary) Rettler, Bill (Maryann) Rettler, brother-in-law, Robert (Sharon) Kitzman; sisters-in- law: Bonnie (Terry) McDermott, Nancy (Dennis) Hack, Debbie (Chuck) Elliott; along with many nieces and nephews.
    Terry is reunited in Heaven by his parents, his father and mother-in-law Alfred and Jeanette Kitzman; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Sharon and Bill Viergutz; nephews Tom Viergutz and Rod McDermott.
    Friends may call at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour, on Saturday, March 17, 2018, from 9:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am with Pastor Roland Lindeman officiating. Burial will take place at Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
    Terry will always be remembered as a kind, gentle man who deeply loved his family, grandchildren, his many friends and Heather Pick who was like a grandchild.
    The family offers special thanks to Lowell James and Ron Koehler for always being there along with his Hospice nurses: Penny Sue, Jean and Lisa!
