    Esther F. Nett, age 83, of N10190 Nett Road, New Holstein, "Marytown," died Sunday, April 29, 2007, at the Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac of an extended illness. The former Esther Wagner was born October 29, 1923, in Jericho, a daughter of the late Charles and Louise (Olbrich) Wagner. She attended Holy Trinity Catholic Grade School in Jericho. On October 16, 1945, she married Elmer Nett in Jericho.
    She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Marytown and an honorable member of the Altar & Rosary Society. Esther enjoyed cooking, baking and playing cards with her grandchildren.
    Survivors include her husband, Elmer of Marytown; two sons: Gerald Nett of Stockbridge and Kenneth (Janice) Nett of Charlesburg; a daughter, Karen (Chuck) Nett of St. Peter; 12 grandchildren: Micheal (Misty) Nett of Louisiana, Daniel Nett of Redgranite, Nicole (Dion) Spranger of Appleton, Jeremy Nett of Appleton, Christa Nett of Stockbridge, Brian Nett of Marytown, Kevin (Rhonda) Nett of Plymouth, Brad Nett of Marytown, Jason Nett of Iraq, Tim Nett of St. Peter, Tina Nett of Fond du Lac and Angie Nett of Fond du Lac; 13 great-grandchildren: Jordan and Hunter Nett, Hailey, Brittany, Ryan and Cassidy Nett, Micheal Habberman, Heather Nett, Brook See, Brandon Schmitz, Hailey Nett, Tanner Nett and Taylor Nett; two sisters: Odelia Ramminger and Delphine Konen of New Holstein; and a brother-in-law, Bill (Anna Mae) Nett of Fond du Lac.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers: Bill, Ambrose, Reno and Martin Wagner; a sister, Lorraine Nadler; her daughter-in-law, Joy (Schneider) Nett; and a great-grandson, Alex Nett.
    A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 2, 2007, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Marytown. Rev. Joseph Coerber, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 2 p.m. until the time of service. The Sippel Funeral Home in New Holstein, 920-898-4300, is assisting the family

    Gerald William Nett of Stockbridge and Chilton - Gerald (Gerry) W. Nett, age 70, of Stockbridge and Chilton, passed away unexpectedly at his residence into the loving arms of his saviour on December 13, 2017.
    He was born on May 30, 1947, to Elmer and Esther (Wagner) Nett of Marytown WI.
    On April 16, 1966, he was married to Joyetta J. Schneider.
    He recently retired from J&E Construction as a truck driver, diesel mechanic and welder. He enjoyed playing guitar, drums and going to musical venues including Molley Busta and Elvis concerts. In his spare time he enjoyed working out in the shed on multiple projects, spending time with family, friends and his favorite pet Coco La Bean. He shared his love of God by volunteering his time giving bible studies and visiting prisoners. He was a graduate of New Holstein High School WI and Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton WI, specializing in welding.
    He is survived by his five children; three sons, Michael (Barbara) Nett of Haughton LA, Daniel Nett of Fox Lake WI, and Jeremy (Faith) Nett of Tamaroa IL and two daughters, Nicole (Dion) Spranger of Appleton WI, Christa Nett of Monona WI; eight grandchildren Michael Hobermann of Valders, Jordan Nett and Hunter Nett of Little Rock AR, Cassidy Nett of Fond du Lac WI, Ryan Nett of Madison WI, Samuel Nett, Joyetta Nett, and Evan Nett of Tamaroa IL; two great grandsons Grayson and Jackson Stobb of Fond du Lac WI; one brother Kenneth (Janice) Nett of Charlesburg WI, one sister Karen Nett of St Peter WI and fiancé Beverly Meyers of Menasha WI. He is further survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a grandson Alexander Nett, brother-in-law Chuck Nett, and nephew Timothy Nett.

    Visitation and Services: Family and friends may visit with the family on Sunday, December 17, 2017 from 1-3:15 PM followed by the service at 3:30 PM with Pastor Charles Butler at Sippel Funeral Home, 2618 Altona Ave, New Holstein, WI 53061. On Monday, December 18, 2017 entombment will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Appleton WI.

    In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
