    Obituary:
Michael John Wautlet, age 49, died April 7 in Neenah, WI. Michael was a loving and caring man, full of passion. Being an avid sports fan, collecting sports memorabilia to display in his home bar, he took his passion one step further, becoming active in school sports. He was the head football coach at Seton Catholic Middle School and coached track and field at St. Mary Central High School. He has inspired many kids to exceed in sports and to be better people. He was seen as extremely valuable to the Twin Cities Catholic Education System. He was an intricate part in the game management, including fundraising, recruitment of players and students, and running brat frys. During the summer months, Mike's sports passion continued with his job at the Neenah Park & Rec., umpiring softball games. Michael was also a strong advocate for blood donation. He started giving blood on a regular basis when he was only a teenager because of the needs of his younger sister. He strongly encouraged others through his television commercials for the Community Blood Center. During the holidays, he was the "Santa who gave blood," challenging the community that if Santa had time to donate blood during this time of need, then so did they. Michael was also a dedicated employee, working over thirty years at First Supply of Appleton, originally W.S. Patterson. He put a high priority on hard work and doing the best at any job. In his free time, Mike enjoyed camping with his whole family, always telling the same ghost story. He also enjoyed working on his large koi pond, which he and his family built themselves. He took a lot of pride gardening and landscaping his yard with his wife and children.
Michael is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 28 years, Sally; his children: Christopher (fiancee Shelley), Travis (fiancee Jennifer), Brent (fiancee Beth), Troy Wautlet and Shannon (Ben) Eggers; his granddaughter, Isabella Eggers; his mother, Bernie Wautlet; brothers: Bob (Barri) and Steve (Alicia) Wautlet; and uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Karl and his sister, Susie Wautlet.
Michael was a man who worked hard and played even harder. He will be greatly missed — loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. I'll miss you, Bandit, love Sunshine.
