Obituary:
Frieda M. O'Rourke (Frieda Bellin), 88, Neenah, died peacefully on August 2, 2006, at Brewster Village in Appleton,Wis. Frieda was born March 17, 1918, in Erie, N.D., the daughter of the late Henry and Minnie (Marquardt) Bellin. Frieda lived in Neenah until her retirement at age 66 from Kimberly-Clark Corporation, where she worked in research and development for 37 years. She was an active and long time member of Martin Lutheran Church. She enjoyed bowling, boating, golfing, cooking and playing her harmonica. After retirement she lived with her daughter, Sheryl Loughrin in Greendale, Wis. She worked 5 years part-time in a dress shop and was active in her grandchildren's activities. She was a member of Hales Corner's Lutheran Church.
Frieda is survived by a daughter, Sheryl and a son-in-law Gene Loughrin, Gresham, Wis.; She cherished her two grandchildren, Bridget Molthen, Ft. Adkinson; and Mark Loughrin, Glendale, Calif.; She is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Meghan and Michael Molthen; her dear sister, Mrs. Helen Riddle, Eden Prairie, Minn.; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents, Frieda was preceded in death by two brothers, Henry and Walter Bellin; and three sisters, Eva Green, Tillie Roberstad and Marie Porath.
At the request of the family, the funeral will be private. Interment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park on Wednesday, August 9, at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. James Seim will officiate.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks to ThedaCare at Home Hospice for their wonderful care in the past few weeks and to the staff at Brewster Village for three years of dedicated, compassionate and loving care.
