Sharon E. Bastian, 69, Green Bay, died Sunday, March 2, 2008, at a local nursing home after a long and extremely courageous battle with chronic pain and multi-system disease. She loved her home of many years in Door County. Never an idle person, she enjoyed crafts, painting, interior design and of course the Green Bay Packers, having made a brief television appearance during the legendary "Ice Bowl" championship game. Sharon was a respected nurse, devoted wife and avid race fan, most notably of her very special nephew, Troy Muench.
