Schmiedel, Kristine M.
Kristine Schmiedel, 42, Oshkosh, formerly of Neenah, died Saturday, April 19, 2008, with her family by her side at Theda Clark Medical Center. She was born March 29, 1966, in Neenah, daughter of Richard and Jacqueline (Stoegbauer) Burr. Kris married Jeff Schmiedel, June 5, 1999, in Oshkosh. She was a 1989 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, and received a Paralegal degree from Roosevelt College in Arlington Heights, Ill. She was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church, Oshkosh. She was a highly achieved runner who loved to read, garden and spend time with her family.
Kris is survived by her husband, Jeff; her nurturing mother, Jackie Burr, Neenah; her sisters and brother, Kris' twin, Susan M. (Corey) Anderson, Kenosha, and their twins, Ethan and Evan; Mary (Tim) Shandonay, Neenah, and their children, Spencer and Hilary; Jeff (Mary Ann) Burr, Loveland, Ohio, and their children, Shelby and Angelina; and Kathy (Pete) Ansems, Neenah, and their children, Brandon, Morgan and Madalyn; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her dear father and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends may call at the Kessler Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2008. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. that evening. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2008, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 620 Division Street, Neenah, with a visitation gathering at 10 a.m. followed by a mass at 11 a.m. with Fr. Doug Le Captain officiating. Interment will be in St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah. A memorial has been established.
The family wishes to express a special thank you to all the caregivers that helped Kris in her journey, and to all the many friends that remembered Kris in their prayers.
