Obituary:
Albert Towns Dies From Heart Attack
Albert Town, 72, of King, a former Crandon resident, died yesterday morning at his home from a heart attack. He had been in poor health for several years.
Survivors include his wife; four stepsons, Chester and Lyle of Crandon, Glenn and Lionel of St. Paul, Minn.; a brother and a sister.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed. Burial will be in Crandon.

12/14/1950 Services Saturday For Albert Town
Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. C. Haskins of Laona from the Crandon Mehodist church at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon for Albert P. Town, 72, of Crandon, who died suddenly from a heart attack at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning, Dec. 6, at the Grand Army Home, King, Wis. He had been in poor health for about two years.
Military services were in charge of the Crandon American Legion post. Pallbearers were members of the post, W. S. Rowlinson, Ray Bingham, Rudolph Korth, Lynn Paul, Harold Case and Frank Kobin.
Burial was in the Crandon Lakeside cemetery.
The Reese-Halverson Funeral Home was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
Relatives from away who attended the services were Mr. and Mrs. Glen Jackson and Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Jackson of St. Paul, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Town, Mr. and Mrs. George Town, and Elmer and Robert Town of Niagara, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Wanach, Mr. and Mrs Frank Oberkliner, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Baker and Willis Baker of Rhinelander, Mr. and Mrs. George Packard Jr. of Antigo, Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Krauter of Argonne, and Mr. and Mrs. Leon Bird of Fond du Lac.
Deceased was born Sept. 28, 1878, at Appleton and came to Forest county about 1900 where he worked in the woods and sawmills. He enlisted in World War I and served as a sergeant in the army quartermaster corps for almost two years.
Surviving besides his widow are four stepsons, Lyle and Chester of Crandon, Glen and Lionel of St. Paul, Minn., and a brother William Town, and a sister, Mrs. Grace Bird, both of Fond du Lac.
