    Obituary:
    Dorothy M. Noack, age 95, of Appleton, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2008, at Appleton Health Care Center. Dorothy was born January 24, 1913, in New London, the daughter of the late Frank and Dena (Peterson) Riedl. She has resided in Appleton for most of her life and was formerly employed by Fox River Tractor Co., retiring in 1967.
    Dorothy was a devoted member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
    Survivors include a son Fred J. Noack, Waupun; five grandchildren: Fred A. Noack, Mark (Nicole) Noack, Judy Boom, Cami (Salvador) Torres, and Peter (Loni) Noack; seven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
    In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law Mary Noack and eight brothers and sisters.
    The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 24th at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 404 W. Lawrence St., Appleton, with Fr. Larry Abler officiating. Friends may call directly at the church from 9:30 a.m. Friday until the time of the service. Interment will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established for St. Joseph Church.

    Ethel Roepke June 2, 1919 - June 30, 2007 Age 88, of New London, died on Saturday, June 30, 2007 at St. Joseph Residence in New London following a brief illness. She was born on June 2, 1919 in New London, daughter of the late Frank & Dena (Peterson) Riedl. Ethel graduated from New London High School with the Class of 1937. She worked at the Edison and Mullarkey's Garage in New London until she married and raised a family. She had been a resident of Trinity Terrace in New London for the past 10 years. She was a member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New London. She is survived by a daughter: Julie (Gary) Allen, Appleton; a son: David Roepke, Kimberly; a sister: Dorothy Noack, Appleton; a brother: Larry Riedl, King. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides her parents, Ethel was preceded in death by her husband Gordon, 3 sisters and 4 brothers. The funeral service for Ethel will be held on Friday, July 6, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Joseph Residence Chapel in New London.     Appleton - Julie Ann Allen, 70, of Appleton, died Tuesday January 23, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She was born in New London on April 15, 1947, daughter of the late Gordon and Ethel (Riedl) Roepke. Julie married Gary Allen on September 5, 1970.
    Julie was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. She was a member of the "Spinners Guild". Julie enjoyed spinning, weaving, and crocheting among other crafts. She was a board member of Retired Greyhound Athletes. Julie loved all of her animals dearly. She loved her family and all her wonderful friends she met along the way that meant so much to her.
    Julie is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Gary; and her brother David Roepke, Kimberly. She is further survived by many other relatives and friends.
    A Mass of Christian burial for Julie will 11:00 AM on Saturday February 3, 2018 at ST. PIUS X CATHOIC CHURCH, 500 W. Marquette St. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday morning beginning at 9:00 until 10:45 AM, with Mass to follow at 11:00 AM. Entombment will be at Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
    Julie's family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Geller, Dr. Conkright, Crystal, and the entire staff at both St. Elizabeth ICU and Fox Valley Hematology and Oncology, for all of their care and compassion.
