Konkol, John"Jack"
John J. Konkol, age 82, passed away peacefully at Oakridge Gardens on Sunday, December 14, 2008. He was born on September 1, 1926, son of the late John and Grace (Fitch) Konkol. Jack served his country while he was enlisted in the Army. He then worked for Banta Corporation for many years until his retirement. Jack was a life-long member of St. Mary Catholic Church, in Menasha. He loved his photography, computers and tinkering with electronics. He will be missed by his loving pet cat, "Angel."
Jack is survived by a sister, Ramona Kelpinski, Appleton; many nieces and nephews: Judy (Mike), Larry (Cheryl), Ron, Cathy (Jeff), Tim (Debbie), Mona, Lori; other relatives and friends.
Jack was preceded in death by a nephew, Robert; and a brother-in-law, Orville Kelpinski.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2008, at 11 a.m., at Martens-Laemmrich Funeral Home, 312 Milwaukee Street, Menasha. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Internment will take place at St. Mary Cemetery.
