Obituary:
Lyle C. Curtis, age 91, passed away after a short battle with cancer on Thursday, January 29, 2009, at Vallhaven Care Center. He was born September 26, 1917, in the Town of Menasha, son of the late Clinton E. and Inetz (Van Epps) Curtis. He married Marjorie Anderson; she preceded him in death in 1985. He was formerly employed with Banta Corporation. Lyle was the best father and friend a person could have. He enjoyed hunting and being in the woods. He also enjoyed sharing his life stories with others.
Survivors include a daughter, Lori Curtis and her fiance Ed Zettler Jr., six grandchildren: Ashley, Elizabeth, Sarah, Joseph, Mariah, and Hannah; and close friends, Mark and Jeff Syring.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Taylor, and a brother, Raymond.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, February 1, 2009, at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home from 1 to 3 p.m. Inurnment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
