Rahr-Buchanan, Debra S.
Debra S. Buchanan, age 53, formerly of Appleton, passed away peacefully in Denver, Colorado, on Thursday morning, February 26, 2009. She was born on September 6, 1955, in Oshkosh and grew up in Appleton.
Debra graduated from Appleton West High School in 1973 and attended Colorado University in Boulder. Debra spent the last 25 years living in Aspen, Colorado, where she had many friends who rallied to her side during her battle with cancer.
Debra is survived by her father, Robert Rahr Sr. and his wife Mary; a brother, Robert Rahr Jr. and his wife Lee; a niece, Brynn Rahr, Racine, WI; a nephew, Bryce Rahr; an uncle, Charles Rahr; an aunt, Barbara Duwe and three cousins and their families.
Debra was preceded in death by her mother Susan G. Bleick (Hoppe) on February 7th, 2009. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents: Carl and Edna (Much) Rahr and Henry and Ruth (Meyer) Hoppe; and an uncle, William Duwe.
