Obituary:
Robert L. Tank, age 41, New London, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2009, at Cherry Meadows Hospice. Robert was born on September 7, 1967, in New London, son of Arthur and Margery (Meating) Tank. On July 26, 1997, he was united in marriage to Catherine Knapp. He lived and farmed on the family farm his entire life. Robert was very active in FFA, 4H, and loved bowling and taking his two daughters to water parks. He completed a Farm Operations Course at Fox Valley Technical College.
Robert is survived by his wife Catherine; two daughters: Elizabeth and Rebecca, at home; his mother, Margery Tank, New London; two brothers: Ron Tank, Manawa; Jerry (Lynn) Tank, New London; a sister, Kathy (Mark) Clark, Menasha. His father-in-law, Keith (Diane) Knapp, New London; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Tammy (Ron) McCarry, Neenah; John (Angie) Knapp, New London and Steven Knapp, Clintonville. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur in 2007 and his mother-in-law, Marina Knapp.
Funeral Services for Robert will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church in New London with Rev. William Heiges officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2009, from 4-8 p.m. at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home and also at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be in the Northport Ostrander Cemetery.
