Obituary:
ALEX SALOMON
Alex Salomon, 58, a former resident of Appleton, died suddenly in Milwaukee Friday night. Mr. Salomon, who was in the grocery business in this city, left Appleton more than 20 years ago. He was a Spanish American War veteran, having served with Company G of the Second Wisconsin Infantry. He also was a charter member of the Appleton Knights of Pythias lodge. Survivors are one sister, Mrs. Rose Rosenthal, Appleton; and one brother, Simon Salomon, Milwaukee. Funeral services will be held at 2:15 Monday afternoon at Zion temple in this city, with Rabbi E. Hirschberg, Milwaukee in charge of the services. Burial will be in Zion cemetery.
