Obituary:
Robert A. Rothe, Appleton, age 61, passed away while biking at his cabin in Three Lakes on Sunday, June 28, 2009. He was born December 28, 1947, in Appleton, the son of the late Richard and Anne (Pelton) Rothe. On January 6, 1974, he married his wife of 35 years, Joyce Steger, in Appleton. Rob was employed by Kimberly -Clark for 33 years, primarily in marketing research.
Robert is survived by his wife, Joyce; son, John; twin sister, Mary (John) Curtis; and brothers: Richard (Barbara) Rothe and Peter (Jean) Rothe.
A memorial visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at the Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior Street in Appleton. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Rob's name is being established.
