Obituary:
Age 67, of Hortonville, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 13, 2009. Gerald was born on December 8, 1941 in New London, son of the late Emil and Lucinda (Klemm) Wolf. On September 21, 1963 he was united in marriage to Kathleen Young in Hortonville. Gerald attended Emanuel Lutheran Grade School in New London and graduated from Fox Valley Lutheran in 1959. Gerald worked for 38 years at Miller Electric until his retirement in 2001. He enjoyed darts, bowling, playing cards, shooting pool and relaxing at his cottage on Clover Leaf Lakes. He loved attending his grandchildren's sporting events. Gerald is survived by his wife Kathy; a daughter, Sheila (Tim) Marg, Hortonville; two sons, Thomas (Cindy) Wolf, Menasha; Timothy (Cathy) Wolf, Hortonville. Four sisters-in-law, Joyce Wolf, Neenah; Nancy Wolf, Appleton; Donalda Brownson, Plymouth, MN; and Armella (Dick) Bloy, Kaukauna and two brothers-in-law, Jerry (Carol) Young, Appleton and Bob (Judy) Young, Greenville. Six grandchildren: Alisha, Adam, Ashley, Andrew Wolf and Brandon and Tyler Marg and also other relatives and friends. Besides his parents, Gerald is preceded in death by two brothers, James and Robert Wolf. A Memorial Service will be held for Gerald on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Hortonville with Parish Director Greg Layton officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
