    Anita M. Tesch, age 94, formerly of Clintonville, passed away on Wednesday evening, September 23, 2009, at The Kathy Hospice, West Bend, WI.
    Anita was born on November 17, 1914, in the Township of Bear Creek, Waupaca County, the daughter of the late William and Louise (Vollbrecht) Hornburg. She spent her early life in the Township of Union, Waupaca County and in Milwaukee. On October 22, 1938, she married Eldor H. Tesch at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Township of Bear Creek. Together, the couple farmed the Tesch home dairy farm in the Township of Bear Creek until 1966 when they sold the farm and moved to Clintonville. Anita worked at the Coast to Coast Store in Clintonville until her retirement. Her husband, Eldor preceded his wife in death on October 27, 2002, after 64 years of marriage. In 2005, Anita moved to Mukwonago, WI, and in 2008 moved to Cedarburg, WI. Anita was a member of the Waupaca County Association for Home and Community Education of the Marble Club, a past member of the Clintonville Women's Club and was a life-long member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Township of Bear Creek and was an honorary member of their Ladies Aid where she held several offices. Her hobbies included sewing, crafts, traveling and playing cards with friends.
    Survivors include: her daughter: Nancy (Dennis) Ward, Mukwonago, WI; her son: James (Loretta) Tesch, Sussex, WI; five Grandchildren: Sherri (Dale) Kowalski, Apple Valley, MN, June (Dan) Pape and Beth (Robert) Keast, Oconomowoc, Christine (Dan) Pawlak and Robert (Kim) Ward, Mukwonago; nine Great-Grandchildren;her niece Joanne (Gary) Gauger, Franklin, WI;her nephews: Donald (Sandy) Gunther, Grand Chute and Gerald (Dione) Gunther, Oshkosh.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Eldor, two sisters, Adeline Ott & Ida Gunther, and a great-granddaughter, Crystal Kowalski.
    Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, September 26, 2009, at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Township of Bear Creek with the Rev. Steven Pockat officiating. Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery.
    Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Clintonville is assisting her family with the arrangements. Condolences may be sent through www.eberhardtstevenson.com Memorials are preferred and may be directed to the Trinity Lutheran Church or the Trinity Lutheran Ladies Aid.
