Obituary:
Theodore Ahlgren, 47, Waterloo, Iowa, a former Appleton resident, died Sunday in Madison after a 3-month illness. He was born June 22, 1911, in St. Paul, Minn., and was employed in Appleton for about 15 years.
Funeral services will be at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning at Holy Cross Catholic church, Kaukauna, with burial in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Fargo Funeral home, Kaukauna, after 4 o'clock today. The rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock tonight.
Survivors include the widow; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Ahlgren, Frederic, Wis.; two sons, Charles and Stephen, both at home; two brothers, Henry, Madison, and Gilbert, Nigeria, Africa; and one sister, Mrs. F. H. Carlson, Barron, Wis.

Theodore married Vanevenhoven, Valery Abt Jun 1936. Valery (daughter of Vanevenhoven, Charles Alphonse and Gloudemans, Rose A.) was born 25 Mar 1909, Kaukauna, Outagamie, Wisconsin, USA; died 15 Oct 2001; was buried , Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Kaukauna, Wisconsin, USA. [Group Sheet]
