    Obituary:
    Richard H. Reese, 88, Shiocton, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2011, at Good Shepard Nursing Home in Seymour. He was born on March 4, 1923, the son of Louis and Mary (Hill) Reese. Richard attended Clover Blossom, then changed to the Leeman School where he completed 8th grade.
    On May 11, 1946, Richard married Marcella (Duhm) at UCC in Black Creek, Wis. He had worked at FWD in Clintonville, and in construction in addition to farming. Richard had a great love of farming and was especially proud of his straight corn rows. Richard raised his family to love farming and John Deere Tractors, especially his "B".
    He enjoyed watching the birds in the yard, picking apples in the apple orchard and gardening. Richard enjoyed watching and teasing his great-grandchildren.
    Richard is survived by his wife, Marcella; three sons, Wayne (Carol), Dennis (Carol Storma), Donald (Jeanne) Reese, all of Shiocton; nine grandchildren, Mark (Melissa) Reese, Shiocton; Kevin (Jennifer) Reese, Seymour; Brian (Carissa) Reese, Omro; Eric (Randi Lea) Reese, Seymour; Scott (Sharon) Reese, Darlington; Jenny (Jeff) Schroth, Shiocton; Jason (Kristin) Reese, Black Creek; Sara Reese, Shiocton; Bruce Reese, Shiocton; six great-grandchildren, Timothy, Aliyah, Melany, Jaydon, Owen and Angela Reese, and two more that are expected; a sister, Irene (Don) Huse, Shiocton; godchildren, Kenny Duhm and Peggy Rohm. Further survived by a sister-in-law, Vera (Ray) Rihm, Mackville; and a brother-in-law, George (Geraldine) Duhm, Bonduel.
    He was preceded in death by his parents.
    Friends may call at Trinity United Church of Christ, W6712 County Road F, Shiocton, on Sunday (today), March 27, 2011, from 1 to 5 p.m. Visitation will continue at the church on Monday, March 28, 2011, from 10:30 a.m. until services at 12 noon with Pastor Moira Finley officiating. Burial will take place at Graceland Cemetery in Clintonville.

    A memorial fund has been established.
