    Obituary:
    Clarence F. Riemer, of Hilbert, age 94, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2009, at Calumet Medical Center. Clarence was born on May 9, 1914, in Langlade County, son of the late William and Ida (Fischer) Riemer.
    He married Viola Gest on July 31, 1948, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Hilbert. Clarence farmed in Hilbert for many years until going to work as a fork lift operator for the Brillion Iron Works. He was a life-long member of St. Peter Lutheran Church.
    Clarence is survived by a brother, Cyril (Mary) Riemer, Menasha; and many nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his wife, Viola; two brothers and four sisters.
    Funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 22, 2009, at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Hilbert. Rev. Brian Crane will officiate. Friends may call at the church on Sunday from 2 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery in Hilbert. Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion is assisting the family with arrangements.

    Cyril H. Riemer, 80, Menasha, died peacefully with family at his bedside on Friday, Dec. 2, 2011. He was born in Hilbert, on Dec. 28, 1930, the son of the late William and Ida (Fischer) Riemer.
    Cyril was a proud veteran who served his country honorably in the Korean War. After his dedicated service, Cyril married his loving wife, Mary Sontag, and worked for Kimberly Clark until his retirement. Cyril volunteered as a fireman for 35 years with the Town of Harrison Fire Department. Cyril "Pa" enjoyed spending time at the cottage, going to the casino and doting on his family.
    Cyril is survived by his wife, Mary Riemer, Menasha; children, Annette Kappell, Kimberly; Debra (August) Marturano, Merrill; Kennith Riemer, Menasha; Cyril Jr. (Cheryl) Riemer, Wild Rose; Beth (Paul) Mann, Appleton; grandchildren, Mandy LeCapitaine, Luke LeCapitaine, Ringo Mann, Amy Kappell, Rochelle Riemer, Abby Mann, Vinnie Marturano, Brandon Marturano; and great-grandchildren, Makenzie and Charles.
    A private memorial service was held for Cyril on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011, at the Martens-Laemmrich Funeral Home, 312 Milwaukee Street, Menasha, with Deacon Rick Dvorak officiating.
