Obituary:
Penny L. Balthazor, age 51, of Appleton, formerly of Weyauwega, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Cherry Meadows in Appleton. She was born on April 10, 1962, in Appleton, WI, the daughter of the late Wilmer and Marilyn(Borchardt) Hanneman. Penny was a member of Riverview Lutheran Church in Appleton. She was employed at the Wolf River Diner in Fremont for many years and loved watching the Green Bay Packers. Penny is Survived by two daughters, Jamie(Ty)Wohlt and their daughters, Hailey and Kiley, Fremont; and Michelle(Nathan)Straus, and their children, Blake and Bentley, FL; four brothers, Bruce(Barb)Hanneman, MN; Steve Hanneman, Readfield; Doug(Connie)Hanneman, Readfield, and Tom Hanneman, Fremont; two sisters, Debbie(Bob)Ball, New London and Julie(Mike)Fenske, Fremont; a special friend, Lester Bud Schmitting; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Penny was preceded in death by an infant sister, Cynthia, her grandparents, Rueben and Lenora Hanneman and Harvey and Katherine Borchardt. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 11:30 AM at Riverview Lutheran Church, 136 W. Seymour St, Appleton. Rev Adam Bodie will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park in Appleton. Visitation will be held on Saturday, at the church from 9:30 AM until the time of service.
