    Dennis G. Demler, age 74, of Oshkosh, died Thursday April 2, 2015 at his residence with his family by his side. He was born on September 18, 1940 in Kaukauna the son of Gordon "Ted" and Eleanor "Babe" (Neta) Demler. On April 20, 1963 he married Barbara Spanbauer in Oshkosh.
    Dennis was a Journeyman Plumber for 36 years and had served in the U.S. Army Reserves. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and coffee with his buddies each morning. He was known for being able to fix anything and was always willing to help others.
    Dennis is survived by his wife Barbara; two daughters Dawn (David) Unger and Pamela Lang; one sister Joan (Dave) Freund; two grandchildren Derek Unger and Deidra Unger; two aunts Lois Belonger and Angie Demler; sister-in-law Maureen (Russell) Krueger; brother-in-law Mark (Leslie) Spanbauer; several nieces, nephews, friends and three grand-dogs Dashe, Maggie, and Wally.
    Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; an infant sister Mary Ann; in-laws Alfred "Sunny" and Helen (Leinweber) Spanbauer; aunts Shirley (Neil) Balda, Verna Demler, Florence (Frank) Jakubowski, Irene (Paul) Balda, Evelyn (Leonard) Steig, Margaret (Tony) Sitzberger and uncles Ed (Frances) Neta, Dave Belonger and George "Din" Demler.
    Funeral services for Dennis will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday April 11, 2015 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-Westside. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. A private burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery at a later date.
    In lieu of flowers, a scholarship for tradesman at Fox Valley Technical College will be established in Dennis' name.
    Dennis' family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Aurora Hospital, Amanda from Aurora Hospice, caregivers from Right at Home In Home Care & Assistance and his primary doctor, Dr. Michael Sergi of Aurora Fond du Lac.
