    Obituary:
Robert J. "Bob" Deml, age 73, of Chilton, died on Thursday, June 4, 2015. He was born December 8, 1941 in Chilton, son of the late William & Alma (Schneider) Deml. Bob proudly served in the United States Army Airborne. He married Linda Stephany on February 14, 1969 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein.
During his life and until retirement, Bob worked as a patrolman for the Calumet County Sheriff's Department. Once in retirement, Bob's dedication to hard work continued; he began working for Midstate Parking Lot Maintenance and the Street Department for the City of Chilton.
He was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Parish in Chilton and the Cedar Creek Sportsman Club.
Bob had a fantastic sense of humor and was able to strike up conversation with anyone he came across. In his free time, Bob enjoyed his time spent outdoors. He looked forward to hunting, sturgeon spearing, bird feeding and his meticulous care for his yard. Bob's gentle spirit and his love of family was self-evident, especially during time spent with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife: Linda; his children: Brenda (Jeff) Cline of Appleton, Becky Deml of Neenah, Bradley (Sandra) Deml of Richfield; 6 grandchildren: Tyler Deml-Breuer, Ethan & Emma Cline, Megan, Brandon & Logan Deml; a brother: William (Gloria) Deml of Chatanooga, TN; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: William Rehrauer of DePere, Joanne (Jerome) Kobriger, Robert (Andrea) Stephany, Alan (Barb) Stephany, Mary (John) Koenigs, John (Ilene) Stephany, Jim (Joan) Stephany; and his very good friend: Keith Hanke. Bob is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister: Shirley Rehrauer; and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Michael (Marianne) Stephany.
