    Blanche Wall was born into this life on Feb. 16, 1921. She left this life and returned to her Maker on Sept. 25, 2011. She was born in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., the middle child of seven, born to Bert and Carrie Wall. In her early years her family moved to several cities in Wis. and Ill. From Wisconsin Rapids the family moved to Barton, Wis., then to Waukegon, Ill., then to Watertown, Wis., where in 1935 she entered high school. She spent a year and a half at Watertown High, then moved to Shawano, Wis., where she graduated with the class of 1939.
    In May of 1942, she married Jim Zelton at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano. They moved to Green Bay to begin their married life. In May of 2011, they celebrated their 69th anniversary. When all her children were in school, she went to work at St. Vincent Hospital and retired from there in 1982, after 25 years of service. Jim and Blanche are longtime, dedicated members of St. Willebrord Parish in Green Bay.
    She is survived by her husband, Jim, and five of her six children, Diane Amato, Milwaukee; Katherine (Jerry) Hackbart, Oregon, Wis.; Margaret Fellows, Muir, Mich.; Todd Zelton, Green Bay; and Elizabeth (Jerry) Hujet, New Franken, Wis. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, Shauna (Chris) Smith, Sal (Kathryn) Amato, James Amato, Heidi, Carrie and Samantha Hackbart, Aaron (Mary) Turner, Jesse Turner, Brian (Tammy) Nickol, Cassie Nickol, Kimberly, Alison and James Zelton, Stacy (Derrick) Washington, and Dustin, Jenna and Jeremy Hujet. She is further survived by 12 great-grandchildren, Emily Burke and Ethan Smith, Dominic, Hattie and Gracie Amato, Kody and Sabian turner, Emily Cothern, Calleigh Hujet, and these special great-granddaughters, Jayda, Miyah and Kiera Washington who visited her often and kept her smiling and entertained in her last years. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Rita Waskenburg, Green Bay and Jean Wall, Mesa Ariz. and many friends, neighbors, and two special nieces, Kathleen Fritz and Barbara Parkman.
    She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Pat, her parents and all her siblings, her in-laws, Hattie and Henry Zelton, and Jim's brothers and sisters.
    Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. on Wednesday from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Parish Wake Service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue on Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. at St. Willebrord Church, 209 S. Adams St. Funeral Mass at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Fort Howard Cemetery.
