    Obituary:
Eileen was born on August 9th, 1927, and was raised in Clintonville before moving to Appleton, where she met the love of her life, Larry. Together they had seven children, Wayne, Sheila, Gary, Steve, Kevin, Mark, and Mike. They provided their family with a home filled with great joy and love. Through example, they instilled in their children an appreciation for hard work and always having respect for others.
When God called Dad to Heaven in 1983, it was Mom's strength that inspired us to press on. Her faith in God never wavered. On February 27th, after years of battling Parkinson's Disease, Mom peacefully drifted off to sleep and rejoined Dad in Heaven for eternity. There, she was also greeted by two sons, Steve and Mike, a grandson, Matt, her parents, Harvey and Lillian, a brother, Delmar, and many in laws, uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Eileen is survived by her children and their spouses; Wayne and Joan, Sheila and Dennis (Gloede), Gary and Diane, Kevin and Tina, Lori (Mike), Mary Ann (Steve), and Mark. She is also survived by a sister, Carolyn, a sister Joan and her husband Merlin, 17 Grandchildren, 30 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great Grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and in laws. Her family provided Eileen with her greatest joy.
During her life Eileen enjoyed traveling, including a trip to Hawaii with husband, Larry, who fought going tooth and nail, but by the time that they returned home, it was all his idea! They were lucky enough to enjoy several trips together. After Larry's passing, she continued traveling with friends and groups, going to Europe, Australia, some National Parks, and many local bus trips. Eileen enjoyed live music and theatrical performances. She also loved going out to eat, and spending time with family and friends, going on casino trips with her sisters, and playing cards with her family. Eileen also loved and appreciated her sister Carolyn's help and companionship, taking her to appointments, followed by a fun stop for lunch. She always looked forward to "Bingo Night", and "Game Day" with her friends at Randall Court.
Our Mom will be sadly missed by all, but her love, warmth, and kindness will live on in our hearts forever.
A funeral Mass will be held for Eileen on Friday, March 3rd, 2017, at 10:30 am at St. Joseph Church, 404 W. Lawrence St. Appleton, WI
Visitation will be from 9:00 am up until time of service.
