    Obituary:
    Fay M. Kegel, 100, Green Bay, formerly of Suring, died Saturday, September 16, 2017. She was born June 20, 1917, in Appleton, to Fred and Olga (Hintz) Kray.
    Fay graduated from Appleton High School class of 1935. On November 17, 1939, she was united in marriage to Albert George Kegel at First United Methodist Church in Appleton. In 1943, they moved from Appleton to Suring and took over the family farm. Fay and Albert farmed for 33 years until 1978, when they retired to Florida. She volunteered as a "Pink Lady" for two area hospitals for more than ten years before retiring due to illness. Fay later returned to Wisconsin to be close to family in 1993. While in Suring, Fay was an active member at Suring United Methodist Church, and served for many years with the Women's League. She taught Sunday school for many years. Fay was currently a member at Bethany United Methodist Church, and was active with their United Methodist Women's Group.
    She is survived by her children, Donald and Shirley Kegel, Jerry and Diane Kegel, Kenneth and Toni Kegel, and Alan (Anthony Beeman) Kegel; a daughter-in-law, Patricia Kegel; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many other friends.
    Fay was preceded in death by her husband, Albert G. Kegel; a son, Howard Kegel; her parents, Fred and Olga (Hintz) Kray; two brothers, Sheldon and Gordon Kray; a sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Arthur Schroeder; and a granddaughter, Paula.
    Friends may call at Bethany United Methodist Church, 1110 Echo Lane, Green Bay, from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, followed by the Funeral Service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Robb McClintock officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Appleton. Blaney Funeral Home is assisting the family. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.
