    Obituary:
    Nicholas J. Kavanaugh, 205 Hay es St. Kaukauna, aged 70, died Sunday, December 16th, 1984 after brief ill ness. He was born July 16th 1914 in Freedom and had lived most of his li fe in Kaukauna where he had been employed by the Thilmany Pulp and Paper C o. for 43 years prior to his retirement in 1976. He was a member and pa st president from 1958 to 1975 of Paper Makers the Union Local 20. He w as a member of Kaukauna Knights of Columbus Council 1033, the Hearts Cl ub and Visiting committee at Appleton Medical Center and also a memb er of the Thilmany Quarter century club. He is survived by his wife, Mari on (Vanevenhoven) Kavanaugh, a son and daughter in law, Mark and Jane Kava naugh, Kaukauna; two grand daughters, Katie and Tracy; four brothers and f ive sisters in law, James and Dorothy, Minneapolis, John and Jane, Madiso n, William and Eleanor, Florida, Robert and Rose, Little Chute, Mary Ell en Kavanaugh, Freedom, a sister and brother in law, Mary and Gerald Mauth e, Appleton, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his par ents and a brother, Michael. The funeral service will be at 1030 Wednesd ay morning at Holy Cross Catholic Church Kaukauna with Reverend David Beau dry officiating. Friends may call at the Greenwood funeral home from fo ur until 9:00 p.m.

Marian (daughter of Vanevenhoven, John and Verbeten, Hattie) was born 5 Dec 1917, Kaukauna, Outagamie, Wisconsin, USA; died 5 Sep 1987, Appleton, Outagamie, Wisconsin, USA; was buried Aft 5 Sep 1987, Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Appleton, Wisconsin, USA.
