    Obituary:
Neenah - Heaven has called another angel home. Our beloved mother and grandmother Wilma Muthig passed away peacefully on July 27, 2018 with her family by her side. She married her love and best friend, Jack Muthig. They celebrated 60 happy years together, enjoying many family events and traveling in their RV and camper. They were especially fond of Nashville and Florida where they met many wonderful new and lasting friends.
Wilma's greatest joy was her family. She took such pride in taking care of her family and home. Memories of her home-cooked meals and her great baking will become part of her legacy. She taught us a meal isn't complete without some kind of sweetness. You could always count on music being played in the house, especially her favorite, Daniel O'Donnell. Her family all have beautiful memories of holidays spent at Mom & Dad's and being up north on weekends and vacations with them. With a large family, there are many stories to share of those good times. Wilma worked in various retail, but her favorite always remained the Jandrey's Candy Shoppe.
Survivors include five daughters: Pat (Gordy) Shaw; Donna (special friend Dave Petermann) Petermann; Beth (Mark) Hawkins; Joann (Tom) Milhaupt; and Janice (Chris) Morrison; two sons: Ronnie (Bonnie) Muthig; and Randy (Jill) Muthig. She was loved and adored by grandchildren Kristin Shaw; Scott (Tina), Jeff (Melissa), and Trevor (Rachel) Petermann; Dr. Jamie (Peter) Zarda; Joe (Mandie) Muthig; Amanda (special friend Mike) and Samantha Hawkins; Ashley, Abby, and Adam Morrison; and Shannon, Corey, and Tyler (Ashley) Milhaupt. She is further survived by 12 beautiful great-grandchildren who knew her as GG.
Wilma was preceded in death by her loving husband; her parents, Della and Frank Young; four sisters, five brothers, seven sisters-in-law, and seven brothers-in-law.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Wilma will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, August 3, 2018 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 439 Washington Ave., Neenah. Visitation will be held Friday at church from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service. Interment will be at St. Margaret Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
The family wishes to recognize and thank the many caring and compassionate caregivers and staff at Island Shores and all of Mom's caregivers from ThedaCare Hospice. Your care and friendship has meant the world to our family.
We have been blessed to have this beautiful lady in our lives for 90 years and though our hearts are sad, it was time to let her go to her happy place to be by Dad's side once again. His Frenchy has come home. We will love you forever.
