Obituary:
Hortonville - Patricia Ann Walter, age 68, of Hortonville, passed away on Friday, August 3, 2018 at Cherry Meadows. She was born to the late Elenora (Biettler) Stuck on March 4, 1950. She married James Walter on November 23, 1968 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Menasha; they would have celebrated 50 years of marriage in November of this year. Patricia enjoyed, duck and goose hunting, fishing, furniture refinishing, and always having a good laugh with her friends and family. She was a great cook and always enjoyed being with her grandchildren, especially during their popcorn picnics.
Patricia is survived by her husband of 49 years, Jim; her sons: Randy of Appleton and James (Sheila) of New London; grandchildren: Alexis, Mason, and Kendra; brothers Matthew (Karen) Stuck and Allen (Beth) Stuck; sisters Maria and Shirley Stuck; four step brothers; two step sisters; eight sisters-in law; seven brothers-in-law; uncles: Allen "Sonny" Biettler and Eugene (Yvonne) Biettler; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; aunts Joyce Biettler-Selig and Lotte Biettler; and parents-in-law John (Eunice) Walter.
A memorial service for Patricia will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at Brettschneider Trettin Nickel Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Grace Lutheran Cemetery in Winchester. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
The family would like to thank Dr. Steven Dernlan, Dr. Thomas Lewandowski, Dr. Xin Yao, all the staff at Fox Valley Hematology and Oncology, and ThedaCare Cancer Center. Also, a special thanks to all the doctors, nurses, and staff at Cherry Meadows.
