    Obituary:
    Greta (Tembelis) Fravel, 90, Neenah, passed away Friday, June 16, 2017. She was born on December 10, 1926, in Neenah to the late Frank and Margaret (Weyenberg) Poplinsky. Greta was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Parish where she sang in the choir for many years and was active with many church activities. She was a very caring and outgoing person who always had an infectious smile and kind words to say about everyone. She also had a great sense of humor. Greta was active with the Neenah-Menasha Elks Lodge, Meals on Wheels, and enjoyed senior couple's golf, bowling, playing bridge and piano.
    She is survived by her daughter: Anne Birling, step-children: Charles (Laverne) Fravel and Judy (Richard) DeBoer, daughters-in-law: Lori (Dan) Keuler and Molly Tembelis, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as many relatives and friends.
    Greta was preceded in death by her husbands: Emanuel "Mike" Tembelis and William Fravel and sons: John and Paul Tembelis.
    Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 620 Division St., Neenah, with Fr. Dennis Bergsbaken officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Neenah. Visitation will be Wednesday, at the church, from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass.
    Greta's family extends their deepest appreciation to the management and staff at Emerald Ridge Assisted Living and Compassus Hospice for their warm and generous care. Special thanks to lifelong family friend (60+ years) Donn Marshall who watched out for Greta's well being over the last 28 years.
