    Arthur Leo Schuh, age 91, died peacefully on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Central Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, Wisconsin.
    Art was born on April 24, 1923 in Freedom, Wisconsin the son of the late Peter and Anna (Schmitt) Schuh. He was a Freedom High School graduate. Following high school Art moved to Washington DC and worked for the Civil Service Department before he entered the military. Art proudly served his country with the Army Air Corps 1252 Squadron in Casablanca French Morocco. Following his military service Art was united in marriage to Mildred R. Mayer on November 27, 1952 at St. Therese Catholic Church in Appleton. He was formerly employed with the Hoffer Glass and Paint Company of Appleton in sales for several years. Art also was a very active member of the Appleton Evening Lions club and St. Thomas More Catholic Parish where he was a member. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, cribbage and playing sheephead with family and friends.
    Art is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Millie, and their three children, Arthur (Cheryl) Schuh and their son, Michael, Iron River; Diane (Paul) Boucher and their daughters, Amanda and Abby Boucher, Greenville; and Thomas (Stephanie) Schuh and their daughter, Roxanna Schuh, Appleton; a brother-in-law, Robert (Willodene) Mayer, Germantown; and a sister-in-law, Marion Christel, Kiel; and by nieces, nephews, other relatives, neighbors and friends. Art was preceded in death by his parents, ten siblings and a brother-in-law.
    A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a m on Monday, March 30, 2015 at St. Thomas More Catholic Parish, 1810 N McDonald Street, Appleton with the Rev. Gerald Falk and the Rev. James Lucas con-celebrating. Military Honors will follow the service at the church. Entombment will be in the Star of Hope Mausoleum, Appleton. Art's family will receive relatives and friends at the church on Monday from 9:00 am until 10:45 a m. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established for Appleton Evening Lions Club of Appleton.
    The family wishes to express heartfelt thanks to the angels who work at the Veterans Home in King, WI.
