    Obituary:
    Joseph P. Joosten of Kimberly, age 88, went peacefully to his eternal home on Wednesday, March 12, 2008. He was born March 8, 1920, in Little Chute, son of the late John and Anna (Van Groll) Joosten. On August 22, 1944, Joe married the former Marian Evers at St. John Catholic Church, Little Chute. The couple lived in Kimberly most of their married lives. Joe was a well-respected lab tech at Morning Glory Dairy in Appleton, retiring in 1982. He was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church in Kimberly. Joe was an avid fisherman and lifetime member of the LAKE VIEUX DESERT "RUNNERZ CLUB" (If your out, I'm in!). He loved walking, working in his yard, writing daily in his journal, word searches and was also a passionate Chicago Cubs fan. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and cherished the time he was able to share with all.
    He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marian, his children: Sharon (Ron) Hansen, Appleton; Mary K. Joosten (special friend Joe Le May), Menasha; Tom (Debbie) Joosten, Green Bay; Tim (Mary R.) Joosten, Kimberly; seven grandchildren: Rick (Lisa) Hansen, Staci (Bryan) Roskom, Shannon and Brent Joosten, Alison, Jared, and Katelyn Joosten; four great-grandchildren: Ryan and Sammi Hansen, Shauna and Shaela Roskom; a brother and two sisters-in-law: Richard (Beverly) Joosten, Little Chute; Delia Joosten, Kimberly; two sisters and a brother-in-law: Minnie Ven Rooy, Kaukauna; Martha (Martin) Vanden Boogart, Little Chute; numerous nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and three brothers-in-law: Mary (Hank) Gloudemans, Agnes (Art) Ebben, Martin Ven Rooy, a brother, Martin Joosten, and two siblings early in life.
    The Mass of Christian Burial will be 12 NOON on Monday, March 17, 2008, at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Kimberly with Fr. Dave Beaudry officiating. Friends will be received directly at church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place in St. John Cemetery, Little Chute. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in his name. The Boettcher Family Funeral Home, Kaukauna, is assisting the family. 920-766-2099.
    The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at St. Elizabeth Hospital for their loving care and support.

    Joseph married Evers, Marian 22 Aug 1944. Marian (daughter of Evers, Peter F. and Bergman, Anna J.) was born 4 Mar 1922, Little Chute, Outagamie, Wisconsin, USA; died 4 Oct 2008; was buried , St. John Catholic Cemetery, Little Chute, Wisconsin, USA. [Group Sheet]
