    Obituary:
    Clara M. Sprangers, Little Chute (formerly of Menasha), age 93, died Thursday, April 5, 2018 at the St. Paul Home. She was born in Appleton on August 27, 1924 to the late Nicholas and Frances Salm. Clara married Joseph Sprangers on November 11, 1944. They were devoted to each other and celebrated 70 years of marriage before his death in 2015. Clara and Joe purchased 26 acres on the corner of South Oneida Street and Hwy. 114 in Menasha and established "Sprangers Spread." Together, they worked their fields and produce stand for nearly 30 years.
    Clara is survived by her sisters: Marie Heinritz and Betty Salm; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Margaret Foley, Agnes (Stanley) Socha and Patrick (Judy) Sprangers. She is further survived by scores of nieces and nephews in both the Salm and Sprangers families; and neighbors, Mark and Janet King.
    In addition to her parents and husband, Joe, Clara was preceded in death by her siblings and members of Joe's family.
    Visitation will be held April 27, 2018 at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (323 Pine St. Little Chute) beginning at 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Ronald Belitz will officiate. Committal St. Joseph Cemetery, Appleton.
    Clara's family would like to thank the staff at St. Paul Home and Hospice services for the compassionate care she received.

    Clara married Sprangers, Joseph Hermon 11 Nov 1944, St. Therese Catholic Church, Appleton, Outagamie, Wisconsin. Joseph (son of Sprangers, Mathias and Wallace, Mary Rosella) was born 29 Apr 1924, Darboy, Calumet, Wisconsin, USA; died 9 Jul 2015, Little Chute, Outagamie, Wisconsin, USA; was buried , St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Appleton, Wisconsin, USA.
