    Obituary:
    Mrs. Anna Menting, 62, died at her Combined Locks home Monday after a brief illness. She was born in Little Chute May 25, 1881.
    Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Joseph Revoir, Mrs. Harold Burnemann, Combined Locks; Ovra at home; seven sons; John, Henry, Vernon, Raymond and Leo, Combined Locks; Peter, Sturgeon Bay; Edward, Kimberly; nine brothers; Arnold, Peter, Martin and George Jansen, Little Chute, Art, Kimberly; Henry, Appleton; John , Milwaukee; Theodore and William, Niagara Falls, New York; eight sisters; Mrs. Joe Jansen, Mrs. Leonard Helen, Kaukauna; Mrs. Harry Montgomery, Mrs. George Klicka, Appleton; Mrs. Arnold Hietpas, Mrs. Bernard Hearst, Mrs. Peter Beavers, Little Chute; Mrs. William Van Dallen, Combined Locks.
    Funeral services will be held at St. Paul Church Combined Locks, Thursday morning with burial in the parish cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 tonight at the Jansen-Ellenbecker Funeral Home at Kimberly.

    Obituary:
    Dolores Vanden Oever, age 77, of Kimberly, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2012 at her home. She was born on May 10, 1934 in Combined Locks, the daughter of the late John and Helen (Jusko) Menting. On April 12, 1955, she married Richard Vanden Oever at St. Paul Catholic Church in Combined Locks. Dolores was involved in the restaurant business at the Village Inn, the Kimberly Mill and then McDonalds. Over the years, she enjoyed the cottage in Woodruff, the Packers and Brewers and was an amazing seamstress.
    Dolores is survived by her sons: Rick (Nancy) Vanden Oever, Kaukauna; John (Amy) Vanden Oever, Kimberly; daughters: Jean (Randy) Hermes, Kimberly and Barbara Smith, Green Bay; five grandchildren: Robert Schmelzer, Georgia; John Vanden Oever, Jr. Eric Vanden Oever and Dakota Hermes, all of Kimberly and Chris Brown, West Virginia; two great grandchildren; sister: Shirley Van Berkel, Combined Locks and brother-in-law: Ken (Carol) Gutowski, Appleton. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Dick" Vanden Oever; sister: Elaine Gutowski; brother: Dennis Menting and brother-in-law: George Van Berkel.
    The funeral liturgy for Dolores will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, January 20, 2012 at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH - KIMBERLY, 600 E. Kimberly Avenue. Fr. David Beaudry will be officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. A time of visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 am until the time of mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.

    DeBroux, Elizabeth M. "Betty"
    Elizabeth M. DeBroux "Betty", age 76, of Kimberly, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at her home. Betty was born on November 20, 1929, in Kaukauna, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Menting) Revoir. On October 28, 1948, she was united in marriage to Wilfred "Bill" De Broux, the couple later divorced. Betty was a cook at Marty's Place for 23 years.
    She will be sadly missed by her son, Russ DeBroux, Little Chute; a niece, Shelly (Bruce) Zeinert, Little Chute; former husband: Bill DeBroux; sister-in-law, Jane Revoir, as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.
    In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers: David, Paul, Ernest, Donald; sisters: Katherine, Marlene; and a special friend, Jim.
    A memorial service for Betty will be held on Monday, March 24, 2008, at 6 p.m. at the Jansen Fargo Funeral Home (204 East Kimberly Avenue) with Sister Annette Koss officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be in Holy Name Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
    Betty's obsessions were golf, bowling, pull tabs, scratch offs, and spending time with her friends at "Down the Hill." As many know, her lucky number was "15." She will be deeply missed by her niece and friend, Shelly.

    Gerald P. Menting, of Neenah, age 67 years, passed away on November 28, 2006, at Cherry Meadows, surrounded by his loving family after a long struggle with cancer. He was born February 16, 1939, in Kaukauna, the son of the late Peter and Agnes (Van Dalen) Menting. Jerry retired from Inter Lake Mill in Kimberly after working for 44 years. He was an avid golfer, spending many hours playing the game he loved.
    Jerry is survived by his brothers: Jim (Barb), Jeff (Kathie) and Rick (Dawn) Menting; sisters: LaVerne (Steve) Kuepper and Sandy (Tom) Konen and the daughter in Jerry's heart Mora Mangiameli and her family. He is further survived by his special friend Dee Klein, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    The memorial service for Jerry will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2006, at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME TRI COUNTY CHAPEL with Chaplain Jordan Kuczwara officiating.     James P. Menting, age 67, passed away on Monday afternoon, April 19, 2010, at St. Elizabeth Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born March 19, 1943, in Sturgeon Bay, the son of the late Peter and Agnes (Van Dalen) Menting. On August 24, 1963, Jim was united in marriage to Barbara Malsavage at St. Paul Catholic Church in Combined Locks. Jim was employed at U.S. Oil Company for 25 years until his retirement in 1999. He especially enjoyed spending quality time with his family at Evergreen Campsites in Wild Rose. He enjoyed working with his hands and was considered by many to be an expert at his craft.
    Jim will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Barb; his children and their spouses: Mark (Michelle) Menting, Hortonville; Nea (Wayne) Lamers, Little Chute; and grandsons: Logan and Cross Menting and Adam and Brady Lamers; sisters: LaVerne (Steve) Kuepper, Kimberly; Sandy (Tom) Konen, Michigan; brothers: Jeff (Kathie) Menting, Kimberly, Rick (Dawn) Menting, Neenah and their families; brother-in-law, Butch (Mary) Malsavage, Kimberly; sister-in-law, Robin (Lon) Rupnow, Neenah and their families.
    Jim was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry; parents, Peter and Agnes Menting; father and mother-in-law, Joseph and Eunice Malsavage.
    A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, April 23, 2010, at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH, 600 E. Kimberly Avenue, Kimberly, with Fr. David Beaudry officiating. Friends will be received at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass. Burial will take place at Holy Name Cemetery.

    Rick J. Menting, age 57, of Neenah went home to the Lord on Tuesday, February 2, 2016. He was called from his home, unexpectedly. He was born on July 20, 1958 in Combined Locks, Wisconsin, son of the late Peter C. and Agnes M. (Van Dalen) Menting. Rick married Dawn G. Sheldon on June 23, 1979 in Appleton. Their marriage was blessed with two beautiful daughters and 36 wonderful years. Rick loved working at Pfefferle Property Management for the past 13 years. Rick loved spending time with those he loved. He was always sure to make his family feel supported. Rick loved spending summers at Evergreen Campground, completing projects, and being surrounded by friends. He also enjoyed shooting at the range, playing golf, and watching sports with Trey. Rick was a man who was willing to fix anything. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
    Rick is survived by his loving wife, Dawn; his daughters: Megan Menting, Danielle Menting; a grandson, Trey Odom; sisters: LaVerne Kuepper, Sandra (Thomas) Konen; a brother Jeffrey (Kathie) Menting; sisters-in-law, Dyan (Mark) Talabac, Paig (Jeffrey) Alexander; brother-in-law, Noel Sheldon (Ross Jamerson); many beloved nieces and nephews. They owned and operated Kuehl's Red Arrow Resort on Anderson Lake from 1983 until retirement in 2000.
    Eunice was a loving wife and mother, she enjoyed knitting and cooking, her specialty was making large amounts of sauer kraut and hocks. She will be greatly remembered for her intoxicating fruit cakes. Eunice faithfully attended St. Michael's Catholic Church Chapel where she was a member.
    She will be greatly missed by her husband, Kenneth of Suring; three daughters, Kasandra (Rick) Ott of Gillett; Karol Kuehl Koeck (special friend Butch) of Brillion; Karlyn (Keith) Pennings of Navarino; four sons, Kendall (special friend, Amy), Leonard (Kathy) Menting of Darboy; Karl (Ann) Kuehl of Colby; Kory (Nixi) Kuehl of Suring; six brothers, Tom (Eva) Menting, Roger (Kay) Menting, Lee (Connie) Menting, Bernard (Karen) Menting, Leroy (Debbie) Menting, Leonard (Kathy) Menting; 20 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two more blessings to come.
    She will be greeted at the gates of Heaven by her daughter, Kitty Marie. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Daniel Menting; two great-grandchildren, Madison and Krystal.
    Visitation will be held at Gruetzmacher Funeral Home on Monday, October 15, 2012, from 4 to 8 p.m. with a prayer vigil at 7:30 p.m. Visitation continues on Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sherwood from 9 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. with Father Michael Betley officiating.     Bradley S. "Buford" Menting, age 47 of Kimberly, passed away unexpectedly on November 19, 2015 at his home. Buford was born on September 10, 1968, the younger of two boys, to Joan (Nickel) Menting and the late Dennis Menting. Buford was a 1987 graduate of Kimberly High School. He was a former employee of Butch's Pizza, J.J. Security and most recently at Menard's in Appleton. Buford enjoyed family gatherings, working on his computer and playing computer and video games. He had a soft spot for kids and was always thrilled when the "Little Ones" would visit.
    He will be sadly missed by his mother Joan, his brother and sister-in-law Bryan and Louisa Menting of Appleton, nieces: Nicole (Eric) Vaughan of Appleton; Kathleen (fiancé Zak Bartotto) Menting of Oshkosh, nephew Michael J. Menting of Appleton, great niece and great nephews: Hailee, Domenic and Zander as well as many other relatives and friends. He was also looking forward to the arrival of a new great niece and great nephew in April.
    He was preceded in death by his father Dennis Menting and his grandparents: Edson and Eunice Nickel and John and Helen Menting.
    Services for Buford will be on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 6:00pm at Jansen Fargo Funeral Home of Kimberly with the Rev. Adam Bode officiating.     Lynn M. Eickhoff, 62, of Darboy, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2012 surrounded by her family. Lynn was born on December 19, 1949 to Ernest and Grace (Verstagen) Revoir. She married Dennis Eickhoff on October 2, 1970 at St. John Catholic Church. While working Lynn spent for many years in the insurance field. She always enjoyed her family, friends and her social gatherings with the neighbors, including Packer parties. In her younger years she was a very avid boater and was the president and secretary of the Fox Valley Friendship Boat Club. Lynn enjoyed playing cribbage and organized many leagues. Lynn's family was the most important thing to her and she always enjoyed bringing everyone together. She was a great cook with many special recipes. Lynn was very proud of her children's accomplishments, and she was looking forward to her daughter's wedding.
    Lynn is survived by her husband Dennis Eickhoff, her children; Sarah (fiancée Terry Smith) Eickhoff of Menasha, and Eric Eickhoff of Appleton, two grandchildren, Alexis and Jordan Smith, her brother Steve (fiancée Carol Brick) Revoir, her sister Peggy (Jeff) Mader. She is further survived by her brothers-in-law; Kirk (Linda) Eickhoff, Tim (Lindsey) Eickhoff, a sister-in-law, Mary (Bob) Brumm, a special friend, Peggy Feldkamp, many Godchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Lynn was preceded in death by her parents.
    The funeral liturgy will be held on Friday, May 18, 2012 at 12:00 PM at ST. JOHN CATHOLIC CHURCH (323 Pine St. Little Chute) with Fr. Jim Hablewitz officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the church.

    Russell Steven Kuepper, 56, of Minocqua, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, February 2, 2014. He was born on January 18, 1958 in Kimberly, WI to LaVerne (Menting) and the late Stephen Kuepper, Jr.
    On August 10, 2012, Russ wed Christine (Richardson) Kuchler in Minocqua, WI. Together, they shared their passion for the outdoors….camping, motorcycling, snowshoeing and fishing. Russ was also an avid hunter and enjoyed deer hunting with his sons.
    Russ truly had a gift when it came to photography. He especially enjoyed taking pictures of nature and wildlife. This talent, along with his creativity, was the foundation for his business, "Diverse Design Group." Russ was also recently employed at Allied 100 as a graphic designer.
    Russ loved his wife and family unconditionally. He was very proud of his children and was looking forward to taking Chris and his two sons to Alaska this coming summer for his eldest son's wedding.
    He is survived by his loving wife, Chris; three children, Lee (fiancé, Mary Riddick) Kuepper of Kenai, AK, Lucas (friend, Alicia Thelen) Kuepper of Madison and Daniel Kuepper of Madison; three step children, Corey Kuchler of Minocqua, Billy Kuchler of Wattford City, ND and Tarynn Kuchler of Minocqua; mother, LaVerne Kuepper of Kimberly; two brothers, Craig (Pam) Kuepper of Menasha, Todd (Judy) Kuepper of Wabeno; one sister, Kerri (Tom) Jacob of Larsen; father-in-law, Ed Richardson of Woodruff; mother-in-law, Joann Richardson of Minocqua; sister-in-law, Pam (Scott) Cisney of Corsicana, TX and many nieces, nephews and friends. Russ was preceded in death by his father, Stephen Kuepper, Jr.; infant brother, John; maternal grandparents, Peter and Agnes Menting; paternal grandparents, Stephen and Lucina Kuepper; and special relative, Adeline Bright. He was also preceded in death by many aunts and uncles.
    Services will be held at Nimsgern Funeral & Cremation Services in Woodruff on Saturday, February 8, 2014, with visitation from 9:30 to 11:30 with a short prayer service to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Russ's family to be designated at a later date.

    Mark J. Menting, age 47, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2012, at Appleton Medical Center from complications due to diabetes. He was born in Kaukauna, Wisconsin, on July 7, 1964, son of James P. and Barbara (Malsavage) Menting. On March 18, 2001, Mark married Michelle Anderson in St. Petersburg, Florida. He graduated from Kimberly High School in 1983 and later attended Fox Valley Technical College, taking classes in Diesel Mechanics, HVAC, and Police Science. Mark worked for many years in HVAC, retiring in 2009 due to illness. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and camping with his sons, Logan and Cross. Mark also coached a number of youth sports in Hortonville.
    He is survived by his wife: Michelle; two sons: Logan and Cross of Hortonville; his mother: Barbara (Malsavage) Menting of Kimberly; a sister: Nea (Wayne) Lamers, and their sons Adam and Brady of Little Chute; his mother-in-law: Nancy Anderson of Green Bay; two sisters-in-law: Debbie (Rod) Lange and Carla (Rick) Heider, both of Green Bay: a brother-in-law: Todd Anderson of Florence, Wisconsin; and special family members, Sharon and Karl Atkinson. Mark was preceded in death by his father, James P. Menting in 2010; his father-in-law: Eugene Anderson; an aunt, Kay (Malsavage) Benotch; paternal and maternal grandparents; along with other aunts and uncles.
    The funeral liturgy for Mark will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 600 E. Kimberly Avenue in Kimberly, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 noon. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Kaukauna.
    The family would like to extend their thanks to the AMC staff, especially ICU nurses, Jenna, Richard and Beth, and 6th floor CNA, Lisa, for the wonderful care given to Mark. In addition, the family thanks Father Gerald Falk, Sister Annette Koss, and Marcia Trentlage for their support, concern, and love during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Mark's name. We love you and will miss you. Love, Michelle, Logan and Cross.

    Amy Marie (Vandenberg) Merckx, 39, passed away on Jan. 1, 2009, surrounded by her family. We lost our hero. Amy was an example for all of us to follow. Despite many years of illness, Amy led a courageous and generous life, always thinking of others. No matter what life dealt her, she faced it with courage and defiance. Amy was an inspiration to all who met her and loved her.
    Amy was born Feb. 13, 1969, in Appleton, to Lyle and Karen (Menting) Vandenberg. She attended local schools and was a graduate of Kimberly High School, Class of 1987. On May 8, 1993, Amy was united in marriage to Paul G. Merckx at Holy Name Catholic Church, Kimberly. She always took great joy in cooking and baking meals for her family and friends. Amy often spent countless hours baking goods that both her children took to school. She also enjoyed summer camping trips with her family and parents at Boulder Lake.
    Amy talked often about her job and the people she worked with. To all the people from Kohl's Department Store, Darboy, she talked about you as if you were her family. The kindness that all of you have shown over the years really meant a lot to Amy and her family. Thank you will never be enough. Words cannot express our family's gratitude to all the workers for everything that has been given.
    In addition to her husband, Paul, and her parents, Lyle and Karen of Combined Locks, Amy is survived by her two wonderful children, Amanda and Mason; her brother, Lance (Jill) Vandenberg, Freedom, and their children, Bailee and Bryce; her paternal grandfather, Leo H. Vandenberg, Crivitz; mother-in-law, Evelyn Merckx, McFarland; seven brothers-in-law, Perry, Combined Locks; Greg, Kevin (fiancee, Barb Jahnke), Richard (fiancee, Donna Hopfensperger) and Jonathan, all of Kimberly; Jamie (Chris), Darboy; Brett (Corey), Oshkosh; 11 cousins, Keely, Taylor, Kifer, Matthew, Casey, Nichole (Tom) Veiau, Justin, Tyler, Kyle, Eryn, Megan, Ethan; and many other relatives and friends.
    Amy is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ray and Dorothy (Williams) Menting; and her paternal grandmother, Marion (De Goey) Vandenberg; her father-in- law and mother-in-law, John Victor Merckx and Mae Rita Mezelin.
    A Memorial Service for Amy will be held Monday, Jan. 5, 2009, at 7 p.m. at Jansen Fargo Funeral Home, 204 E. Kimberly Avenue, Kimberly. Deacon George Schraufnagel will be the officiant. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4 p.m. until the time of service.
    In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Amy's name.
    To Uncle Roy Vandenberg - You held a special place in Amy's heart. Your selfless act of a kidney donation allowed Amy to continue her courageous fight.
