    Obituary:
Evelyn Rose Romenesko has left us to join her beloved son Gary. The world has lost a beautiful lady. The firstborn of John and Agnes Schumacher, Evelyn arrived into this world on November 4th, 1937. She was born at the Schumacher family farm, the oldest of eight children. On March 2, 1957 she married DuWayne Romenesko. Their wedding was a dual celebration as DuWayne's sister Vera married Bill Hofacker Jr. on that same day. Together, Evelyn and DuWayne had four beautiful children, Gary, Keith, Rick and Dawn. Throughout their marriage they ran a family farm, trucked hay and eventually went on to build, own and operate Romy's Nitengale.
It's so difficult to sum up the life of such a great and wonderful lady in a few sentences or paragraphs, but we will try. She was the type of person we all aspire to be. She was a kind, caring, generous, compassionate, sympathetic, understanding, sweet, thoughtful and hard working lady. And she was beautiful to look at with her gorgeous blue eyes, blonde hair and flawless fair skin. Her beauty was not only on the outside, it was in as well. She was such a gracious hostess. Whenever you came to her house, she always made you feel so welcomed. As in the old farmer's tradition, she always wanted to feed you. And who could resist her homemade bread or luscious cookies? She was quite the cook, being able to whip up a fabulous meal at the drop of a dime. If that wasn't enough, her candy dish on her family room counter was always filled. When visiting, Ev would insist on entertaining you with a ride or walk around their many ponds or take you fishing on them. She also liked to take you gambling or playing bingo. For 49 years her sidekick and loyal friend, Eppie Uhlenbrauck shared many of these moments with her. Their's was a true, admired and beautiful friendship.
Throughout her lifetime, Evelyn was such a hard worker. When Romy's was established and built in 1962 by DuWayne, Walter and Ruth, it was not uncommon to see Ev with a hammer in her hand right along side the guys. When they built their two houses, same thing. No project was too big or too hard for her. In the early days of Romy's, when the equipment in the kitchen was archaic, long hard hours of labor to get those meals out to the hundreds of weddings held there never stopped her or gave her reason to complain. She forged ahead and helped to make it a successful business. She loved the people, she loved to make everyone happy. She knew them all by first name and never missed an opportunity to make them feel welcome. She was the best in the business! A true Christian, she never failed to lend a helping hand to someone in need. She always put everyone else's needs and concerns before her own. She also loved children and treated each and every one like they were her own grandkids. Being the "oldest" of the Schumacher family, she was never afraid to remind her siblings of that fact and that they had better "listen," and listen they did! She was their "big sis" in the true sense of the words. She taught them many great things. They lovingly dubbed her the "white tornado," for when any project arose either at one of their homes, or out at the Schumacher family farm, she worked with a drive that was hard to duplicate. She was truly an amazing lady whom we'll all miss forever!
She is survived by her husband, DuWayne, her three children, Keith (fiance' Dawn Moore) Rick (Cheryl) Romenesko and Dawn (Steve) Balthazor: her eight beautiful grandkids whom she loved with all her heart: Lori (Kyle) Klisiewicz, Lisa (Jamie) Smith, Craig (Lindsey)Romenesko, Ashley (fiance Will) Romenesko, Ben (Tonya) Romenesko, Danielle (fiance' Tanner) Romenesko, Chad (friend Kristin) Balthazor, Erik (friend Holly) Balthazor. She also has two great-grandkids, Ryker Smith and Faith Romenesko. She was so excited about Ben and Tonya's twin boys who are due to arrive this spring. She is also survived by Vera Hofacker, Dave Wilson, Vern (Karen), Bing, Ivol (Lorrane) and Linda Romenesko, and Jan (Ken) Frederickson. Ray, Don (Willy), Joe (Cindy) Schumacher, Irene (Dan) Horn, Delores (Ron) Sedo and Margaret Strutz and many nieces and nephews too numerous to mention.
She was preceded in death by her son Gary in 2003, her parents John and Agnes Schumacher, parents in-law, Walter and Ruth, brother Robert, family members Darrel, Butch, Cathy and Travis Romenesko, Bud and William Hofacker Jr., Darhl and Joan Schumacher, Kristy Frassetto and Tim Strutz.
Evelyn, we will miss you dearly. The world was a much kinder place with you in it. Rest assured, in your name, that Keith and Dawn will continue the Romy's legacy of great food and service. Since they have taken over Romy's, they have done exactly that, and we know you were always so proud of that fact. Rick carries on your great lessons in his line of work as well. You were so proud of all your children and loved them with all your heart: as they did you.
Funeral services for Evelyn will be held on Monday, December 20, 2010 at St. Edward's Parish in Mackville with the Rev. Jim Vanden Hogen, a dear and loved family friend, officiating. Visitation will be from 12 noon to time of service at 5:30. Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home is assisting the family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.muehlboettcher.com.
"We say good-bye Mom, we will miss you so much, your pretty smile, your kisses and hugs. We were so happy that your final days were spent at my house surrounded by your family and friends that you loved so very much. We can't thank you enough for what you have taught us in life on how to love and care for people. You were the BEST!! We will miss our "Homemade Bread Fairy" and your homemade potatoe pancakes. Please give Gary a hug for us and know that we will NEVER forget your love that you gave us....We love you so much...Keith, Rick and Dawn."
The family would like to thank Thedacare Hospice, Arc Angels Homecare, Rev Tom Fritz, Eppie, Jan Frederickson, DeeDee Ort, Bonnie and Julie, Lois Grode and Mom's three beautiful sisters, for their love and caring in Mom's last days.

    Obituary:
Our Lord came and chose this special Thanksgiving Day to take Robert home. He was born Dec. 31, 1939, to John and Agnes (Kadinger) Schumacher (both preceded him in death). His birth took place at the Schumacher homestead, a farm in rural Kaukauna. In 1960, Robert bought his dream car, a 1960 red Chevrolet Impala convertible, which was passed on to his son, EJ. He married Joan Kersten (she preceded him in death) in May of 1969.
He was an ironworker and later on became a third generation farmer as he took over the family farm. Robert loved the land and was an avid tractor collector. During his retirement years, he enjoyed gardening, going up north and spending time with friends.
Robert served our country with pride and was part of the 32nd division that was summoned to Fort Lewis, Wash., during the Berlin Crisis of 1961.
He will be greatly missed by his son, EJ (Jessica) Schumacher, and grandsons, Clint and Garrit, Wrightstown; and his daughter, Carrie, Freedom. He is further survived by brothers, Ray, Don (Willy) and Joe (Cindy) Schumacher; sisters, Evelyn (Duane) Romenesko, Irene (Dan) Horn, Delores (Ron) Sedo and Margaret Strutz; sister-in-law, Audrey (Melvin) Schultz; brothers-in-law, Les (Marian) Kersten and Glenn (Dianne) Kersten.
In addition to Joanie and his parents, he was further preceded in death by his brothers-in-law, Timothy Strutz and Gary Kersten; and sisters-in-law, Darhl Schumacher and Jeanine Schmaling.

    Obituary:
    Travis John Frassetto "Travy Boy"
Travis our beloved son, who had such a beautiful kind loving soul, has left us to be in heaven with his beautiful sister Kristy. On Thursday January 30th, he died unexpectedly a St. Elizabeth's hospital. All our hearts are again broken.
Travis was born on July 14th 1991 to Lisa and Jay, the 2nd of three beautiful children. He was always such a happy and loving child. He grew up to be such a wonderful young man. He had a kind loving selfless heart.
Travis loved sports and competition, but more specifically wrestling. He started in kindergarten moving on through high school. He worked hard at winning and earned numerous medals. ,
But Trav's true love was racing motocross, spanning many years starting at age 6 all the way through age 18. He was a racer who had an extreme determination with a truly focused competitive spirit. He was quite the site to behold, leaving most, if not all his competitors in his tracks. He went on to win numerous state championships. His "motocross family" was such a huge part of his life. With his big brother Jesse, who raced just as fiercely alongside Trav, competed nationally as well traveling nationwide. They qualified for Loretta Lynn national motocross races held in Tennessee. Together, they lived and breathed the sport.
Travis graduated from Kaukauna high school in 2008. After working at various jobs and positions, his future plans were to return to school. He was a hard worker who loved working with his hands.
His life, at age 22 was tragically cut short. We shall hold his memory in our hearts forever.
Travis is survived by his parents, Lisa (Bruce) Brum, Jay (Carleen) Frassetto and his big brother Jesse; step-brothers: Peyton, Garret and step-sister, Janell. He is further survived by his maternal grandparents, Ron and Delores Sedo; aunts, uncles and cousins: Brenda and Paul Thomson, Mitchell, Selenna and Maria, Kurt and Annette Sedo, Rutger and Conner, Chad and Niki Sedo, Kassie and Zach, Gary and Jill Frassetto, Abbi, Zach and Dominic, Lori and Rick Otto, Tyler and Ashley, Theresa Frassetto, Jeremy, Amber and Jessica, Julie Frassetto, Jonathan, Joey, Josh and Jamie; and his very special and beautiful girlfriend Clare.

Travy boy we will love you forever. Losing you has left a huge hole in our hearts, a big empty spot. You were so loved and admired by so many people. Your kindness, your big warm, soft heart, your beautiful genuine smile whenever you saw someone was always present. Your close friends, Ben, Caleb and Jedadiah said there was nothing you wouldn't do for any of them. You were the best friend anyone could ask for. They said you would drop anything you were doing if they called and needed something. They said you always took on their problems and tried to help and heal them. You were always there for them and anyone you loved. Everyone says your hugs were the best! You didn't just tap someone on the back, you hugged them, tightly and with a genuine love and concern that came from deep within your big, warm golden heart. Your wonderful laugh that was so contagious and sense of humor will also be missed. Now may the arms of Jesus and Kristy Babe wrap around you, comfort and love you like you did for the people that you loved here on earth.
Trav, we will forever hold you close in our hearts. "Once we dropped a tear in the ocean. When we find it is when will stop loving you."
    Until we meet again.
    Love forever, your family

    Obituary:
    Frassetto, Kristy Marie "Kristy Babe"
Our children are given to us as a gift from God. We are here on earth to take care of them until He decides to take them back to Him.
Our beautiful "Kristy Babe" the joy and sunshine of our lives, born on October 6, 1992, to Jay and Lisa Frassetto, the third of three fabulous children, returned to her Heavenly Father on September 14, 2009. She left suddenly and unexpectedly. The loss and heartache we all feel is unbearable. We ask for everyone's prayers to help us heal. Our lives will never be the same without her. Only He knows and someday, hopefully we'll understand. Please do not judge or guess, please pray with us for acceptance.
Today we must celebrate Kristy's life, full of fun, laughter and goodness. Our tall, stunning blonde had a heart of gold for everyone and anyone. She loved her Mom, Dad and brothers unconditionally. Kristy loved everyone, was always there for anyone in time of need. She never questioned or denied help to anyone who asked. She forever tried to help those less fortunate than herself.
Kristy's big heart of gold also included a profound love for animals. Her horses Cody, Clue, Dee Dee and Mocha were her special treasures. To watch Kristy running through the fields on Cody with her hair blowing behind her was a breathtaking sight to see. She had a great love for all of God's creatures. So today, as lost and heartbroken as we are to have lost our darling sweetheart we must rejoice in her life. Kristy's favorite saying was "Love Always, Smile Often, Laugh Often, Laugh Loud and Be Happy."
She is survived by her loving parents Jay and Lisa; brothers: Jesse (special friend Tracey) and Travis; grandparents, Ron and Delores Sedo; aunts, uncles and cousins: Brenda and Paul Thomson, Mitchell, Selenna and Maria, Kurt, Amy and Rutger Sedo, Chad and Niki Sedo, Kassie and Zach, Steve and Theresa Frassetto, Jeremy, Amber and Jessica, Julie Frassetto, Jonathon, Joey, Josh and Jamie, Gary and Jill Frassetto, Abbey, Zach and Dominic, Lori and Rick Otto, Tyler and Ashley.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jim and Ginny Frassetto; great-grandparents: John and Agnes Schumacher and Norb and Jane Sedo.
Kristy's Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday September 19, 2009, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute with Msgr. Jim Vanden Hogan officiating. Friends will be received on Friday at Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive, Kaukauna, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a Parish Prayer service at 7:30 p.m. concluding the evening. Friends may call again on Saturday directly at Church from 9 a.m. until the time of service. A memorial fund in Kristy's name is being established. 920-766-2099.
"Kristy Babe" we'll love you forever. You were our first born granddaughter. Your fabulous smile, your gorgeous blue eyes, your long silky blonde hair, your laughter, the way you lit up the room when you walked in will always be treasured memories for us. We watched you grow into a wonderful, smart, independent, fun loving, compassionate young lady. We will miss you as well as all who knew you and loved you immeasurably. We will forever hold you close to our hearts. Until we meet again.
Love forever Papa and Gramma Rama.
Our beautiful "Sweets" we already miss you so terribly. We thank God for giving you to us for the short time that we had you. You were the "Sunshine" of our lives, Moms little shadow. We know that you are with God now at peace and will no longer have to suffer because there are no tears in Heaven.
Love Always and Forever, Mom, Dad, Jesse and Travis
