Mrs. Frank Wolfinger, aged 85 years, passed away last Friday morning, May 17, at the home of her son, Frank Wolfinger. Mrs. Wolfinger has lived in this vicinity for a number of years, during which time she gained a large circle of friends. A few years ago she made her home at Kaukauna. Last winter she fell on a sleet covered walk and fracture her illium. From the time of the accident she was subject to great pain which she bore patiently and without a murmur, until death released her. The remains were taken to St. John on Monday, where they were laid to rest, followed by her sons, daughters, grandchildren and a large host of friends all of whom realize that they have lost a friend in time of need.

Obituary:
Joseph Wolfinger, Sr., 84, Dundas, died suddenly Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock while attending the 4-H club picnic at Sherwood.
Born in the town of Wilson in Sheboygan county on January 7, 1856, Joseph Wolfinger came to Dundas in 1876 and opened a blacksmith shop. In 1878 he was married to Mary Lamers of Sheboygan and in 1929 the couple celebrated their Golden wedding anniversary. Mrs. Wolfinger died in 1933.
The Dundas blacksmith turned his shop into a wooden ware business in 1884. Pulpwood and other materials were easy to get and the business boomed. At one time he employed as high as 50 men in the small community. He manufactured cheese boxes, butter tubs, and candy pails for 30 years. Later, he began to manufacture canning machinery some of which was shipped all over the United States, Russian, India, Egypt, Canada, South America, Greece and South Africa.
The deceased was a charter member of branch No. 103 of the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin at Hollandtown. He served as a state assemblyman from Calumet County in 1892 and 1893 [The Wisconsin Blue Book indicates he served 1895-1897.]
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. John Weyers, Kennen; Mrs. Walter Rademacher, Stanley; Mrs. Henry Hovenar, Hollandtown; two sons, Joseph F. and Frank F. of Dundas, one brother, Frank, Brillion, 21 grandchildren and 49 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock this morning from Greenwood Funeral Home and at 9:30 from St. Francis Catholic Church, Hollandtown, with the Rev. Cornelius Raythakers [?] officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Werner William Wolfinger, age 81, Eland, died Saturday, May 2, 1981 at Wausau Hospital Center.
He was born June 7, 1899 in Sheboygan, the son of the late John and Sophia (Hahn) Wolfinger.
On July 8, 1925 Werner was united in marriage to Laura Buss in the town of Norrie. She preceded him in death on September 2, 1958.
Survivors include four daughters, Alice (Robert) Steebs, Eland, Dorothy (John) Yaeger, Wittenberg, Joyce (Robert) Sharon, Antigo and Kay (David) Norrbom, Eland; 33 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and one brother, Tom Wolfinger, Alberta, Canada.
In addition to his wife and parents, Werner was preceded in death by a brother, Henry.
Funeral services were held May 6, 1981 at St. William's Catholic Church, Eland. The Rev. Claude Zabinski, OFM officiated. Interment was in St. Philomena Catholic Cemetery, town of Norrie.

Carl Lewis Wolfinger, Sr., age 92, died peacefully on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at his home. Carl was born on January 26, 1921 in Darboy, Wisconsin son of the late John and Ida (Juckem) Wolfinger. He served his country during WWII with the United States Coast Guard from December 12, 1942 until October 19, 1945. On October 27, 1978 he was united in marriage to Janet Zastrow. They shared 35 wonderful years together. Carl was a member of St. Patrick's Parish of Stephensville. He was formerly employed with Thilmany Paper Company as a mill-worker for over 35 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening and was a member of the American Legion Post 2930 in Portage, Wisconsin.
Carl is survived by his wife, Janet and his children, Carl (Marilyn) Wolfinger, Jr., Weyauwega; Betty Ann Van Dyke, Green Bay; Rosie Klauber, Shirley Wolfinger, Robert Wolfinger, all of Appleton; and Janet's children, Cheryl (Ervin) Fischer, Larsen; Patty (Herman) Griesbach, Kathy (Jack) Balke, Rick (Julie) Derks, all of Appleton; 25 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, a sister, Doris Mae Boehlein, Appleton; and by a sister-in-law, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Carl was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter-in-law, two brothers, five sisters, and his first wife, Betty.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00AM on Monday, September 23, 2013 at St. Patrick's Parish, N 3686 State Road 76 in Stephensville with Rev. Joseph Nsereko officiating. He will be entombed at the Star of Hope Mausoleum in Appleton, with Military Honors. Carl's Family will receive relatives and friends at Valley Funeral Home on Sunday from 4-8PM and again on Monday at the church from 9:00AM until 10:30AM. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established in Carl's name.
Carl's family would like to thank the Staff of ThedaCare@Home Hospice for the care and compassion given unto Carl and his family and to Father Joseph and Deacon Ken for their visits at his home and when Carl was in the hospital.

Elmer P. Wolfinger, Darboy, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2007, at home after a short period of Lou Gehrig's disease at the age of 84. He was born December 29, 1922, to the late John and Ida (Juckem) in Darboy. He married the former Claire Van Thiel on 7/11/46 at St. John's Catholic Church in Little Chute, they celebrated 61 years of marriage on 7/11/07. Elmer was a hardworking husband and father and never wanted to quit. He loved the construction of homes and the people he built for of which there were many to be proud of in his 56 years in business. He enjoyed working with his two sons John and Jeff. Elmer also enjoyed the cottage since 1964, taking the family skiing and on rides on the pontoon. There was also fishing and snowmobiling for the winter. He made sure there was a good fire in the fireplace (like toast). Elmer enjoyed many activities, volleyball and badminton, couples bowling, golf, horse shoes, square dancing, dice games and sheephead. Trips to Jamaica, the Bahamas, Mexico and a few cruises were also enjoyed over the years. Elmer was proud and good to his family, and truly loved his children and grandchildren and the activities they enjoyed, especially basketball. His pride also showed in his garden and rose bushes and he always made sure the birds had enough seed. Elmer was an avid Packers Fan, especially when they were winning. His winning smile would always be there.
He is survived by his wife, Claire, his five children: Darlene (Gary) Emmers and their children, Lance (Cheri) Emmers and Brian Emmers; John (Pam-Fiancee) Wolfinger and their children, Stacey (Bill) Butler, and their children, Jenessa and Mikayla, Robin (Bob) Mayfield, and their children, Kyle and Lauren, Jon (Collette) and their children, Devon and Aubree; Kathy Loiselle and children, Jennifer (Josh) Hietpas, Kristy (John) Reider and their son, Elijah, Kerri Leigh Loiselle; Judy (Michael Francis) Wolfinger and their children, Tyler, Ashley, and Mitchell DeBruin, Lauren and Adam Francis; Jeff (Lori Richardson) Wolfinger and Jasmine (Grandpas favorite 4 legged furry friend); his brother, Carl (Jan) Wolfinger, his sister, Doris Boehnlein, brother-in-law, Clarence Bongers, sisters-in-law, Ann Stoffel, Theresa Kelly, and Frances Van Thiel, his godchildren: Tom Bongers, Jean Miskoviak and Thomas Kelly, and many nieces and nephews.

Alfred Scharenbroch, 80, passed away unexpectedly Monday, January 23rd, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 5, 1936, in Brillion, Wisconsin to Joseph and Anna (Wolfinger) Scharenbroch. After losing his father at the age of 5, the family moved to Hilbert where Al grew up helping on his uncle's farm and enjoying small town life. He graduated from Hilbert High School in 1954, and on June 9, 1956, he married Donna Barribeau at Holy Cross Church in Kaukauna. They settled in Appleton where they raised five sons. Al worked for Kimberly Clark at the Lakeview Mill until his retirement in 1992. He was a self-taught mechanic, plumber, electrician, and carpenter with great attention to detail. There was nothing he couldn't fix or salvage, and he was incredibly generous with his time and skill. Creating bountiful flower and vegetable gardens from seed was Al's second love, followed closely by armchair coaching of the Brewers, Packers, and Badgers. Other favorite past times included model cars and puzzles (the harder the better), bowling, casino trips, and attending the sporting and school events of his sons and later grandchildren. The times he spent in Crivitz fishing on Lake Noquebay and enjoying his family were among his best.
Al was a humble man who used what he was given to the fullest. His greatest joy was the 60 years he walked side-by-side with his best friend. He made us laugh and taught us to keep all four legs of a chair on the ground . . . at dinner and in life. We couldn't have asked for more.
He is survived by his wife Donna (Barribeau) Scharenbroch of Appleton. Sons: Dennis Scharenbroch of Madison, Don (Mary) Scharenbroch of Appleton, Dan (Alana) Scharenbroch of Kimberly, Joe (Ann) Scharenbroch of Kimberly, Bob (Beth) Scharenbroch of Appleton. Grandchildren: Kristen (Rick) Braatz, Matt (Jennifer) Scharenbroch, Drew Scharenbroch, Laura (Tom) Pethan, Gina Scharenbroch, Kyle Scharenbroch, Amber & Autumn Scharenbroch, Katie & Luke Scharenbroch, and Wyatt Scharenbroch. Great Grandchildren: Felicity Braatz, Will Pethan, and two more on-the-way. He is further survived by a sister, Mary Ann Schmit (Darboy), as well as many nieces and nephews.

Delores was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church and it's choir, Catholic Knights, the Altar Society and volunteered with Meals on Wheels.

Robert E. Wolfinger, age 50, of Appleton, passed away on December 31, 2014, at Appleton Medical Center, following a long battle with Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy. Rob was born on May 10, 1964, in Appleton, to the late Carl, Sr. and Elizabeth (Van Heeswyk) Wolfinger.
Rob was a gentle and loving soul, an inspiration to everyone he met. He was well-known for his optimism, his perseverance and strength, his genuinely kind heart, and his ability to see the good in any situation. Many have been blessed to have known Rob.
Survivors include his brother and sisters, Carl (Marilyn) Wolfinger; Betty Ann Van Dyke (special friend, Del Delcore); Rosemary Wolfinger Klauber; and Shirley Wolfinger; and his step-mother, Janet Wolfinger and her family. Rob is further survived by an uncle and aunts, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Abiding by Rob's request, there will be no formal funeral services. A memorial has been established in Rob's name. The family would like to thank the staff at Appleton Medical Center and Parkside Care Center for their compassionate care. Thank you, Shirley, for your love and devotion to Rob. Also, Aunt Pat and Justin are thanked for their friendship. The Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior Street, Appleton, is serving the family.

Heiting, Jerome A. "Rom y"Jerome A."Romy" Heiting, of Kaukauna, died Wednesday, July 5, 2006, at S t. Elizabeth Hospital due to complications of emphysema. He was 80. Jerome was born in Kaukauna to the late Henry and Josephine (Vander Loop) Heiting. Jerome served with the US Navy during World War II and was a memb er of the Jacob Coppus American Legion Post 258, Little Chute. He married Dolores De Koch on July 1, 1948, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church. Jerome was a superintendent in the bag department at the Thilmany Mill, retiring after 43 years of service. After Thilmany's Jerome was a consultant for various mills when setting up bag departments. He was a past pre sident of the Quarter Century Club and a member of the Thilmany Manageme nt Club. Jerome was a man of action and was never one to sit and watch. He never hesitated to pitch in where help was needed. In addition to bu ilding his own home and a cottage on Crane Lake, Jerome constructed the ho mes of numerous friends and relatives.He was an avid sportsman, hunting in earlier years and fishing througho ut his life. He also loved to golf and was a past member of the Fox Vall ey Golf Club and Nicolet Country Club. Jerome was proud to have achieved t hree holes in one. He was a skilled woodworker and a life long member of H oly Cross Church. She was bo rn February 21, 1935, in Kaukauna daughter of Josephine (Vander Loop) a nd Henry Heiting. Shirley married David Andres July 25, 1953. Mrs. Andr es was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute. Shir ley still enjoyed visits to the cottage, the casino and going out to ea t. Friday's at home were spent eating fish and playing cards. It was not u nusual to see her following the football and baseball games to see how "h er numbers" were doing. She made weekly trips to buy scratch off tickets f or herself and her neighbors. Special neighbors, Gino and Esther Roy, trad ed everything from baked goods to lawn cutting. Shirley did well througho ut her chemo and radiation treatments, worrying more about when she cou ld get back up north, than any pain or side effects. She was born on June 21, 1924 in the town of Holland in Brown County, daughter of the late Steve and Cora (Vander Loop) Wittmann. Rita was a 1943 graduate of Brillion High School. On July 20, 1944 she married Delbert A. Lau in Pueblo, Colorado. She was employed at the Brillion Iron Works in the office until her retirement in 1979. For many years Rita enjoyed sewing wedding dresses and many other seamstress duties. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Brillion and the Ladies Aid, the Brillion Ladies Cribbage Club and the American Legion Auxiliary in Brillion for over 60 years. Marvin A. Wittmann, 88, of Little Chute passed away peacefully on Monday morning, October 30, 2017. He was born July 3, 1929 in Askeaton, son of the late Steve & Cora (VanderLoop) Wittmann. Marvin's greatest happiness came from his faith, friends, and most importantly his family. He enjoyed cheering on the Packers and playing games of sheephead with friends and family. He was an expert cribbage player- he especially enjoyed playing weekly cribbage tournaments at Hollanders. In his younger years, he was an avid bowler, golfer and loved to travel with family, friends and his beloved, Delores. One of his greatest joys came from his weekends at the cottage on Legend Lake with family, utilizing his fire-making skills!
Marvin grew up on the family farm in Askeaton with his five sisters; Rita Lau, Arlene Fink, La Verne Meyer, Gloria Steinfest and Dorothy (Alan) Zahn. He was a dedicated employee at Thilmany and Akrosil up until his retirement which led to his favorite job working with his son Bill building homes.
Marvin will be sadly missed by his four children, Dave (Mary Ellen) Wittmann and their children, Kelly (Sam) Huss, Jodi (Kevin) Feick, Steven and Cora Wittmann; Mary (Steve) Waterstreet and their children, Jackie (Tony) Jansch, Rusty (Terri) and Diana Lison, Ryan (April), Mike and Joe Waterstreet, and Holly (Nick) Latzig; Marge Wilson and her children, Brian, Adam, and Kevin (April) Wilson; Bill (Connie) Wittmann and their children, Scott (Katie), Claire (fiancé, Josh), and Jordan (fiancé, Charlie) Wittmann- along with 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by the Delores Moseng family in which he loved being part of- Denis Moseng, Cindy (Larry) Tappa and their children.

LaVerne Catherine Meyer, age 84, passed away peacefully at Caring Hands Assisted Living in New Holstein, WI, on Saturday, July 1, 2017. She was born on March 7, 1933, in Brillion, WI, the daughter of the late Steve and Cora (VanderLoop) Wittmann. LaVerne was a 1950 graduate of Brillion High School. On November 24,1955 she married the love of her life, Jerome (Jerry) Aloysius Meyer, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Askeaton, WI. Jerry preceded her in joining their heavenly father on September 29, 2012. As the years went by, LaVerne missed Jerry immensely and has now been reunited with him at their final resting place in heaven. In their life together, they lived in Sheboygan Falls, WI, for 35 years, and then upon their retirement, moved to Kiel, WI, to be closer to their immediate family. They enjoyed gardening together, and Jerry would often bring her flowers from their gardens.
LaVerne was employed at Tecumseh in Sheboygan Falls, WI, as an inspector prior to her retirement in 1995. She was a member of the Kiel VFW Auxiliary. With her strong faith, she was an active member of Ss. Peter & Paul Parish in Kiel, WI, belonged to their Christian Mothers group, and ushered mass services with her husband. She loved baking with her grandchildren, especially when they were little, as she often laughed at how "artistic" they could be with frosting the cookies. She enjoyed golfing and was in a golf league for about 10 years. She thoroughly enjoyed playing card games. She loved collecting plates and bells. She always looked forward to their annual vacations in Golf Shores, AL, over the winter months during their retirement years. The family wishes to extend their appreciation to the staff at Caring Hands Assisted Living in New Holstein, WI, and to the staff at Heartland Hospice in Fond du Lac, WI, for their compassionate care of LaVerne. On April 12, 1997, Gloria married Don Steinfest. She was a teacher's aid at Brillion Elementary School for several years and then worked as a book keeper for Brooks Oil Company in Hollandtown. She loved playing cards, doing puzzles, spending time with her family and following her grandchildren's activities. Kaukauna - Surrounded by her loving family, Alice M. (VerBockel) Marx went to her heavenly home on June 5, 2018 at the age of 93. The oldest of 11 children, she was born on March 8, 1925 in Kaukauna to Peter and Catherine (VanderLoop) VerBockel.
Alice married the love of her life Edward Marx on July 22, 1944, in Hollandtown. He preceded her in death in 2006 after 63 years of marriage. Together they had 9 children who were the center of their world. Alice helped Eddie on the farm, but gardening and canning were what she really loved to do. Family and friends enjoyed the fruits of her labor for many years because she was as generous as she was hard working. The only thing better than her vegetables and salsa were her chocolate chip cookies.
Alice is survived by her children: John Marx (Carol), Cathy Marx, Mary Campbell, Dale Marx (Cindy), Judy Dix (Al), Jerry Marx (Connie), Terry Muntner (Dave); daughter-in-law Pat Marx; former son-in-law Scott Campbell; 20 grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren.
She also leaves behind her siblings: Agnes Karner Rademacher, Joan Beach, John VerBockel (Joanne), Mary Fassbender, Janet VanDeLoo (Cliff), Clarence VerBockel (Judy), Lynn Lerquin (Fran); and sister-in-law Mary Anne VerBockel (special friend Jack).

A funeral liturgy for Alice will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at St. Katharine Drexel Parish - St. Francis Church, located at 433 State Road CE in Hollandtown, with Fr. Willie Van De Loo officiating, assisted by Deacon Steve Vande Hey, Pastoral Leader. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Kaukauna. Theresa Ver Bockel Fink, 76, passed away Friday, December 22, 2006, in Louisville, KY. She had worked in finance with the Civil Service at Grissom AFB for many years.

Leon Vanderloop, age 85, passed away peacefully at St. Paul Home in Kaukauna on Saturday morning, November 9, 2013. The Lord God granted Lee a beautiful gift: his entire immediate family witnessed his passing into God's hands.
Leon was born in Hollandtown on May 25, 1928, son of the late Richard and Leona (Brochtrup) Vanderloop. He attended St. Francis School in Hollandtown, was a 1946 graduate of Kaukauna High School, and attended St. Norbert College for one year, but marriage and work on the farm called him home. On May 28, 1949 he married the former Pat Greenwood. The couple farmed in Hollandtown for ten years, and during this time, Leon obtained his pilot license. His pride and joy was his 1948 Piper Cub, which he stored behind the barn. He and Pat moved to Kaukauna in 1961, and resided there for the next forty-one years. During that time, he was employed by Badger Northland, Keller Structures, and Paper Converting. He attended auction school in Mason City, Iowa, and during the 1970's and 1980's enjoyed attended auctions. Until recently, he also loved to conduct the auctions at various church picnics all around the valley. Leon was a longtime and faithful member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish in Kaukauna (St. Mary's), where over the years he served on the parish council, building committee, choir member, lector, communion minister, and as a Boy Scout Leader. Since the age of eighteen he had been a member of Council #1033 of the Knights of Columbus, where he served as Grand Knight for three terms. He was also a member of the Kaukauna Elks and the Kaukauna Lions Clubs, donated his time as a volunteer at St. Vincent de Paul, and served on the Board of Commissioners for the Kaukauna Housing Authority for over twenty-five years.
Leon is survived by his loving wife: Pat Vanderloop of Hollandtown; eight children: Thomas (Linda) Vanderloop of Menomonie, Wisconsin; Timothy (Jill) Vanderloop of Appleton; Patricia (Keith) Coleman of Gilbert, Arizona; Richard (Sue) Vanderloop of Kaukauna; David (Gail) Vanderloop of Kaukauna; Helen (Jim) Panetti of DePere; Peter (Syd) Vanderloop of Freedom; and Martin (Sandy) Vanderloop of Little Chute. He will also be missed by twenty-seven grandchildren: Aaron, Jordan, Elizabeth, Molly, Heidi, Hannah, Ellie, Greta, Lori, Tami, Kari, Ryan, Rachael, Robert, Lisa, David, Nathan, Sarah, Adam, Justin, Michael, Lauren, Josh, Matt, Zack, Bryton, and Lucas; twenty-seven great-grandchildren: Darby, Jaiden, Ashley, Emma, Isabel, Owen, Sammy, Lily, Maren, Kendra, Blake, Jacoby, Maryn, Madysen, Maverick, Josephine, Asher, Christian, Dominic, Noah, Rayna, Jayden, Lorraine, Logan, Jada, Mallory, and Brooklyn; and a great-great-grandson: Ira. There are also three brothers: Linus (Gloria) Vanderloop of Askeaton; Dan (Toni) Vanderloop of Kaukauna; and Paul (Willie) Vanderloop of Kimberly; two sisters: Carol (John) Van Zeeland of Kaukauna and Mary Ann (Cletus) Feldkamp of Kaukauna; two sisters-in-law: Shirley Vanderloop and Jean Maeder; as well as Pat's brothers and sister: George Greenwood, Tom (Jean) Greenwood, Peg Vanevenhoven, and Lawrence Greenwood.

The funeral liturgy for Leon will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at ST. KATHARINE DREXEL PARISH, (St. Francis Church) in Hollandtown. Fr. Jerry Pastors will officiate. Interment will be at 3:30 PM in St. Mary Cemetery, Kaukauna. Family and friends are invited to gather at the church on Wednesday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of the service.
Pat and the family would like to offer their sincere thanks to everyone at St. Paul Elder Services for the extra-special care that Leon received while there. The doctors, nurses, hospice staff, and all of the other caregivers were so kind, loving, and compassionate. Our grateful family will never forget all that you have done for us.
All will remember Leon as a handy man who could fix just about anything. He was kind to the elderly and also loved children. Playing Santa Claus to the neighbor children was a favorite annual activity. He also loved to play cards or sharing a meal with loved ones and talking about "old times". Most of all, he dedicated himself to his family, his friends, and his God.

Linus Vanderloop of Hollandtown became the 1958 king of the Hollandtown Schut Sunday morning as he shot down the last of the bird on the 909^th shot of the session. He succeeds Dick Benzschawel of Greenleaf the winner of the 1957 Schut.

Obituary:
Linus Vanderloop, Town of Holland, age 87 died unexpectedly on Thursday, March 30, 2017 while walking through the woods and fields of his Town of Askeaton farm, his favorite place. He was born on October 26, 1929 in the Town of Holland, WI son of the late Richard and Leona (Brochtrup) Vanderloop. On January 3, 1951 Linus married Gloria Brochtrup at St. Francis Church in Hollandtown. The ceremony was presided by her brother Fr. Eugene Brochtrup. Together they celebrated 63 years of marriage prior to her death on September 26, 2014. Linus was very involved in his community and church. He was a volunteer on the Hollandtown Fire Dept., past president of the Schut Society and two time Schut King. He was a director on the Forest Junction State Bank, was a licensed Realtor, was President 1969-70 Nat'l Hay Association, 1991 Haymaker of the year, and the Chairman of Wisconsin Department of Agriculture Hay Advisory Council. At his church (St. Francis Hollantown) he was a charter member of the men's choir and president of St. Francis School Board. Linus loved nature and was an avid sportsman. He enjoyed hunting and being outdoors.

Kaukauna - Paul "Pugo" VanderLoop, age 81, passed peacefully at St. Paul Elder Services on Wednesday afternoon, June 6, 2018. Paul was born in Brillion on September 29, 1936, son of the late Richard and Leona (Brochtrup) VanderLoop. He and the former Wilma Kruse were married at St. Mary Catholic Church in Kaukauna on July 3, 1957, very shortly after Paul's discharge from the military. He had previously served as Specialist 3rd Class in the United States Army from September of 1955 until June of 1957.
In his working career, Paul was a crane operator and member of Operating Engineers Union Local # 139. Over the years, he worked for many different heavy equipment and construction companies including Boldt Construction and Dawes Crane, but at the time of his retirement was working for Spancrete.
Paul had many pastimes and loves in his life. He loved cars of all kinds, followed the NASCAR races, and enjoyed baseball, bowling, and football. He loved to take the family tubing and skiing. In his later years, he and Wilma enjoyed the winter months in Florida, where he liked to play tennis with his friends. Paul was a wonderful husband, father and friend to many - he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Paul is survived by his loving wife: Wilma VanderLoop of Kimberly; six children: Terry (Julie) VanderLoop of Kaukauna, Julie (Bill) Greenwood of Birnamwood; Jenny (Ken) Schuh of Kaukauna; Michael VanderLoop of Birnamwood; Lisa (Tom) Fischer of Kaukauna; and Valerie (Todd) Splitgerber of Appleton. There are also twelve grandchildren: Toni (Jesse) Lloyd, Billy Greenwood, Evan (Nikki) Greenwood, Ryan Dvorachek, Rodney Dvorachek, Tia Schuh, Marcus Schuh, Anna VanderLoop, Tyler VanderLoop, Dillon Fischer, Mikaila Fischer, and Paige Splitgerber. Her great-grandchildren are Scarlett, Madeline, and Isla Lloyd; Landon and Jenavieve Dvorachek; Daymon Sawlsville, and Satia Dvorachek.
He is also survived by a brother: Danny (Toni) VanderLoop of Kaukauna; two sisters: Carol Van Zeeland and Maryanne (Cletus) Feldkamp, both of Kaukauna; and two sisters-in-law: Pat VanderLoop of Hollandtown and Shirley VanderLoop of Manitowoc.

She was born March 14, 1938, in Appleton, daughter of the late John A. and Alvina C. (Vanderloop) Bergman. She married James A. Cotter Sr. November 28, 1957, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Appleton. Before retirement, Mary worked at Mark Travel and Guaranty Bank in Glendale, Sentry Foods in Milwaukee and Appleton, and Kimberly-Clark, Neenah. She did volunteer tax advising for seniors and church activities, she enjoyed playing cards monthly with a group of girlhood friends for over 50 years, and was a member of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Parish in Greenville.
She is survived by husband James A. Sr., of Greenville; children: Colleen (Peter) McGinty, London, England, Cheryl "Cheri" (Steven) Treutel, West Bend, Catherine (Milos) Brablec, Arlington Heights, IL, James A. II (Mary Borgren), Greenville, and John A. (Shanda), St. Charles, IL; 13 grandchildren: Lauren (Troy) Olson, Amy and Jennifer Treutel, James A. III, Rachel, Allyson, and Maximillian "Max" Cotter, David, Martin, and Greta Brablec, and John A. Jr., and Alyssa, and Ashley Cotter; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family in the Fox Cities.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by infant twins Patricia and Michael; brothers: John "Jack", Harold, and Robert Bergman; and sister, Ruth Murphy.
Mary's warmth, infectious smile, intelligence, sense of humor, and the connections she made with people were appreciated by all and will be missed. The family would like to thank Dr. Robin Price and the Affinity Hospice green group for their compassionate care; lifelong friend Carole; Sandra and Eleanor of Valley VNA for the kindness, consideration and friendship they provided; the support and thoughtfulness of good neighbors; and family and friends for meals and companionship.
A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, December 6, at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, N2385 Municipal Drive, Greenville, with Father Pius Cotter officiating. Friends may visit from 2:30 - 6 p.m. on Sunday, December 5, at the Brettschneider-Trettin-Lederer Funeral Chapel, and directly at the church on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Parish Wake Service will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral chapel. Interment will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Appleton.

Combined Locks Age 64, died Tuesday, October 23, 2001 at his home followi ng a very courageous battle with cancer. He was born July 16, 1937 in Gre en Bay, Wisconsin; son of Norbert A. and Helen (Klister) Vanderloop. To ny attended St. Francis School in Hollandtown, was a graduate of Kaukau na High School Class of 1955 and attended Syracuse University in New Yor k. He entered the U.S. Air Force in 1955 and served in San Antonio, Tex as and Berlin, Germany as a Crypto-Analyst in the Air Force's Intelligen ce Department. Upon his return he entered business, with his father and br others, in Vanderloop Equipment Inc. On July 22, 1967, Tony married the fo rmer Sandra Mannebach at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Appleton. Tony lov ed his God, his country and his family; he considered his children and gra ndchildren blessings in his life. He was an avid Packer fan and enjoyed t he outdoors. Tony also loved bowling, farming and tractors and traveling t hroughout the United States. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Churc h, Appleton.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Helen (Lyle) Lamers, De Per e; his loving wife of 34 years, Sandy; their children: Cori (Dennis) Gendr on, Rockford, Illinois; Tony N. He was born July 16, 1944 in Kaukauna, son of the late Donald and Irene (Moore) Rademaker. Dick graduated from Kaukauna High School, Class of 1962, served in the U.S. Navy from 1963 - 1967, and was employed at Zaug's, Inc. for 39 years until retiring in 2006. On September 16, 1967 he was united in marriage to Jeanne Lohrbach (Kucinski) in Irvington, New Jersey. On February 23, 1991 he was married to Karen (Jansen) Prast in Appleton. Dick loved being retired and living "up north." He was an active member of the "Wolf River Riders" ATV Club in Pickerel and enjoyed playing cards with the retirees from Zaug's.
He is survived by his wife, Karen; a son, Paul (Jess) Rademaker, a daughter, Carin (Chris) Farrell, and a step-son, Jeremy (Mackenzie) Prast; 9 grandchildren: Aubree, Wyatt, Seth, Dirk, and Tref Rademaker, Bailey and Ethan Farrell, Samantha and Parker Prast; a great grandson, Valleck Preston; a brother, James (special friend Monica) Rademaker, and a brother-in-law, Leo (Dot) Mitchell. Ed was a U.S. Army Veteran, having served in Vietnam. On Dec. 27, 1968, he married the former Pat VanDeLoo at St. Francis Catholic Church in Hollandtown. Ed enjoyed gardening, camping, playing cards, reading and spending time with his family and friends. He was a very special "Pa" to his grandsons, especially to first-born, Joe. He was a member of the Fox Valley Vietnam Veterans Association and American Legion Post 38 of Appleton.

He was born in Appleton on June 25, 1947, the first born of Thomas and Joan (Verbockel) Beach. Bob was a graduate of Kaukauna High School and had been employed by Thilmany Paper Company in Kaukauna until his retirement. He proudly served his country in the Air Force during the Vietnam War.

Resided in Wauwatosa,, WI (nee VanDerloop) of Wauwatosa, formerly of Manitowoc. Found peace on Fri., May 2, 2003, age 39 years. Beloved wife of Anthony. Loving stepmother of Dominic. Cherished daughter of Shirley (nee Schafer) and the late Allen VanDerloop. Dear sister of Chris (Bruce) Bauman, Cheryl (Tom) Gettleman, Vicki (Bubba) Vanells, and Scott, Lauren and Eric VanDerloop. Special aunt to Cole, Jack, Samantha and Olivia. Loving sister in law to the Triliegi family. Lori also leaves behind many relatives and dear friends. Visitation held TODAY, Mon., May 5, from 4-7 PM at ST. PETER & PAUL CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2491 N. Murray Ave.,Milwaukee. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 7 PM. Private interment.
Lori was a dedicated employee of U.S. Food Service for 7 years. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family appreciated.
