Obituary:
Pamela R. Beshcta 64, Appleton, passed away peacefully at Appleton Medical Center with her family at her side on Wed. Jan. 22, 2014 following a battle with cancer. She was born Sept. 7, 1949 in Appleton to the late Leo and Jean (Friestrom) Weiss. Pam married William Beschta on May 22, 1971 at St. Joseph Catholic Church and he preceded her in death in 2006. Pam was in the Mortgage Banking Business as a Branch Manager until retiring in 2008. Her and Bill were active members of St. Joseph's Parish. She was a caring, loving, generous person who always put everyone else first. She loved being with her family, reading, cooking and doing crossword puzzles. After Bill's passing she became a devoted grandmother to her five grandkids.
She will be greatly missed by her sons: Todd (Laura) Beschta, Mukwonago and Anthony (Suzann) Beschta, Greenville; five grandchildren: Alex, Ryan, Jayden, Landon and Brielle; siblings: Barb Olk, Jeanine (Joe) Jankowski, Judy (Jim) Swiecichowski, David (Diana) Weiss, Karin (Steve) Brown, Mark (Annie) Weiss, Michele Virnig; brothers and sister-in-law: Peter Beschta, Chuck (Linda) Beschta and Kris Brockes; special friends, Donna and Dennis Short. She is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Pamela was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill; mother and father-in-law, Bette and Carl Beschta; 3 brothers-in-law: Vince Olk, Phil Virnig and Jeff Brockes.
A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11am Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Appleton with Rev. James Leary OFM CAP officiating. Friends may visit the family Saturday directly at church from 9 - 11am. A memorial fund is being established for cancer. The family would like to thank the staffs of AMC and ThedaCare Hospice for their wonderful care of Pam.
