    Menomonee Falls - Mark J. Schnabl, Menomonee Falls, died peacefully on July 12, 2018. He was born on January 19, 1959 to the late Lawrence and Marianne (Janssen) Schnabl.
    He earned his MBA in Finance and Investments from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
    Mark worked in the financial industry his entire career, having worked for BMO Harris and most recently as Vice-President of Retirement Accounts for OneAmerica Retirement Services. His leadership was especially evident during the BMO Harris retirement services acquisition process. Mark's calm and level-headed approach and ability to communicate with the impacted employees were a significant factor during the uncertainty that occurs during this type of transition. His outstanding leadership was recognized in February 2017 when he received the ASPIRE Award. The ASPIRE Award is OneAmerica's highest level of recognition of employee excellence. Mark had earned many professional designations and belonged to numerous retirement administrative association including: Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), Society of Professional Administrators and Recordkeepers, American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries, Employers Council on Flexible Compensation, and Sunguard OmniPlus User Group.
    Besides being dedicated to his work, Mark was a compassionate person that generously gave his time to various organizations by volunteering his time and talents. Mark was unparalleled as a loyal and enthusiastic Green Bay Packers fan. He also greatly enjoyed spending time with his immediate family visiting Wisconsin's outdoor attractions and experiencing fine dining opportunities.
    Mark is survived by his siblings: Lynne (David Dobbe) Miller, Sheboygan Falls; Robert (Laurie) Schnabl, Corinth, Mississippi; nephews: Franz and Cedric Schnabl; niece, Susan (Pete) Chase; great-nieces, great-nephews; and many close friends and coworkers.
    He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Glen Miller.
    Friends may call at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Black Creek, on Friday, July 20, 2018 from 9:00 am until the funeral mass at 11:00 am with Father Theodore Hendricks officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
    In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Mark's memory to benefit his favorite causes.
