She grad uated from Wrightstown High School and first worked on the family homestea d, later worked at Prange’s Dept. Store and Pauly’s Cheese Company f or 10 years, and lastly had housecleaned for residents in the Allouez are a. Margaret was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Wrightstown.     Donald L. Baeten, 82, West De Pere, passed away early Friday morning, Dec. 21, 2007, at Rennes Nursing Home, De Pere after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Wrightstown, on July 27, 1925, to the late Martin and Mary (Blaser) Baeten. Don married the former Betty Jane Fenlon on July 19, 1950, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Maple Grove, Manitowoc County. They were married for 57 years. Don lived in the Wrightstown area and the village for 48 years and West De Pere for 34 years.
    He worked in Wrightstown, for his Dad in cheese factories and was a very good dairy farmer. The dairy farm was a very big part of his life. Later, he was a guard at the Wisconsin State Prison in Allouez for about ten years. Don liked motorcycle riding and was an avid horse back rider. He had a horse from age 15 on. He had many horses through the years and thoroughly enjoyed riding and taking excellent care of them. It was a great hobby for him and he had many friends with the same hobby. Mr. Baeten enjoyed traveling on guided bus tours in the USA. Don was a former member of St. Paul's Church in Wrightstown where he lived and now is a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in West De Pere.
    He is survived by his wife, Betty; and his twin sister, Dorothy Vosters from Appleton; nieces and nephews, Connie and Tom Bauer, Katie and Craig Vosters, Little Chute; Paula and Russell Gilson, Appleton; Judy Berger, Florida; Debbie and Rich Mraz, Fence, Wis.; his brother-in-law, Paul and Joyce Lamers, Little Chute. On the Fenlon side, Beatrice and Fred Eberhardt, Manitowoc; Florence Donovan, De Pere; and friend, Jim Kiley, Green Bay; nieces and nephews, Ed Eberhardt, Madison; Amy and Bill Dixon, Monona; Susan Moore, De Pere; and Tim Donovan, New York City.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Mary Blaser Baeten; brother and sister-in-law, Willard and Marion Baeten; sisters, Irene Lamers, Florence Baeten, and Margaret Baeten; nephews and nieces, Teddy Lamers, Steven Eberhardt and Vicky Lamers; brothers-in-law, Don Vosters and Frank Donovan; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ralph and Marcella Bradley Fenlon; also many cousins and friends. Don will be sadly missed by family and friends.
    Friends may call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 North Tenth Street, De Pere, from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday Dec. 23, 2007.     Dorothy Vosters, age 82, of Appleton, died Thursday, July 24, 2008, three days before her 83rd birthday, at Parkside Care Center. Dorothy was born July 27, 1925, to the late Martin and Mary (Blaser) Baeten, in Wrightstown. She is the last of six brothers and sisters, who include her twin brother Donald Baeten. She married her beloved husband, Donald B. Vosters, on August 10, 1946, sharing 57 wonderful years together before his death on October 20, 2003. Dorothy was a schoolteacher for 42 years. She taught at St. Mary Catholic Central and St. Joseph Catholic School, Appleton. Dorothy enjoyed decorating her classroom with butterflies, ribbons and bows. Her favorite color was pink. She enjoyed teaching and Friday night fish fries and playing cards with friends.
    She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Thomas Bauer, Little Chute; her son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Kathleen Vosters, Little Chute; four grandchildren: Brad Bauer, Blake (Geri) Bauer, Bethanie Vosters and Rebecca Vosters; five great-grandchildren: Blake, McKenzie, Noah, Brooklyn and Macey; a sister-in-law, Betty Baeten, De Pere; a brother and sister-in-law, LeRoy and Pat Vosters; a brother-in-law, Tom Pauly, both of Appleton; many nieces and nephews; also special friends, Christy Rettler, Barb Bosch and Sis Balliet.
    She was preceded in death by sisters: Margaret Baeten, Florence Baeten and Irene (Baeten) Lamers; brothers: Willard Baeten and Donald Baeten, mother and father-in-law, Barney and Alma (Holtz) Vosters; sister-in-law, Betty Rae (Vosters) Pauly; niece, Vicky Lamers; godson, Teddy Lamers; and special friends, Howard and Delores Fullarton.
    Funeral services for Dorothy will be held at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 29, 2008, at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Little Chute. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 p.m. Tuesday, until the time of the service. A memorial fund is being established.

    Lamers, Victoria LeeVictoria Lee Lamers, age 56, of Little Chute, died peacefully Wednesday, J uly 27, 2005, after a long courageous battle with cancer with her family a nd friends at her side. She was born November 17, 1948 in Kaukauna, daught er of Paul and Irene (Baeten) Lamers. Victoria was a 1966 graduate of S t. John High School, Little Chute and a 1969 graduate of the Universi ty of Wisconsin, Oshkosh as a speech therapist. She taught in Door Coun ty for 2 years and also in Southern California for 28 years. She helped ma ny deaf and severely handicapped children speak during her career. Her li fe had meaning. The world was a better place because of her endless givin g, love and dedication.
