    b>Bodde, Charles M.Charles M. Bodde, of Kaukauna, age 78, died Wednesday, February 21, 2007, at Parkside Care Center in Little Chute. He was born October 16, 1928, to the late Andrew and Angeline (Bowers) Bodde. On October 26, 1947, Charles married the love of his life Frida Borri in Florence, Italy. Charles was a World War II veteran. He was employed by Appleton Papers in Combined Locks for 41 years retiring in 1991. Charles enjoyed spending time with his family and playing cribbage with friends, Jerry and Regina Brockman. He raised and raced homing pigeons and was a longtime member of Fox Valley Racing Club.
    He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Frida; his daughters: Carla (Dennis) Landrath, Wausau; Sharon (Ken) Hammen, Little Chute; and Connie (Glen) Geurts, Kaukauna; grandchildren: Jennifer (Kevin) Steward, Dallas, TX; Daniel (Jocelyn) Schroeder, Wausau; Matthew Geurts, Andrew Geurts, Emily Bodde and Molly Bodde, all of Kaukauna; great-granddaughters, Landyn and Bryn Schroeder, Wausau; two sisters, Mary Wallace and Rita Van Linn; a brother and sister-in-law, Mirella and Sabatino Facchini, Florence, Italy; one aunt, Cordell Bowers; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Paul; son-in-law, Larry Schroeder; father and mother-in-law, Vittorio and Emma Borri, Italy; brothers: Robert, Virgil and Jack Bodde; brothers-in-law: William Van Linn and Ken Wallace; sisters-in-law: Rita, Betty and Ruth Bodde.
    The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 26, 2007, at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street, Kaukauna with Fr. Jack T. Mullarkey officiating. Friends will be received on Sunday, February 25, 2007, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. with a parish prayer service at 6 p.m. at the BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Kaukauna and again on Monday at Church from 10 a.m. until the time of service. A luncheon will follow the service in the church hall. Burial and Full Military Burial Rites will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established. 920-766-2099.

    Bodde, John R. “Jack” NeenahAge 72, formerly of 435 W. Foster St., #23, Appleton; died Wednesday, Sept ember 3, 2003. He was born November 3, 1930 in Kaukauna; son of the late A ndrew and Angeline (Bowers) Bodde. Jack served in the Air Force during t he Korean Conflict. He was the former resident manager of the Chalet Apart ments in Appleton. Jack enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and bingo, a nd he always had a joke to tell.Survivors include seven children: Pam Huffman, Janet Gay Edmisten, Jack ie Huffman, Debbie Ogborn, Greg Bodde, all of North Carolina; Amy Walvo rt and Guy Bodde, of Wisconsin; two stepsons: Bob Brown and Ron Brow n, of Wisconsin; 14 grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; his special fr iend, Elaine Christensen; a brother, Charles Bodde; two sisters: Maryann W allace and Rita VanLinn.     Kaukauna - Mary Wallace Kaukauna, WI Age 83, died Saturday August 25th, 2018, at her home. She was born December 19th 1934 in Kaukauna, daughter of the late Andrew and Angeline (Bowers) Bodde. On June 19th 1952 Mary married Kenneth Wallace at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna. She was employed by St. Elizabeth Hospital, Dabs Hat and the Hyland House in her lifetime. Mary loved the Milwaukee Brewers, Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears. She loved to go gambling with her sister Rita Van Linn, cooking at the Kaukauna Moose Lodge # 953 and going camping with her family. Survivors include her children and their spouses: Peggy (Mike) Mahn, Rick "Wally" (Jackie) Wallace, and Rich (Kathy) Wallace. Seven grandchildren: Brian (Nicole), Cory (Sue) and Joel (Gina) Mahn. Matthew Wallace, Lindsay (Scott) Deering, Amy (Chris) Timm, and Chris (Hollie) Wallace; ten great grandchildren, Tyler Mahn, Samantha Mahn, Maci Van Gompel, Grant Van Gompel, Addison Mahn, Stella Mahn, Crue Vasiak, Daxton Mahn, Claire Deering, Laylah Wallace and another great grandchild on the way; one sister and one sister-in-law: Rita Bodde and Frida Bodde; numerous nieces and nephews.     Karen M. Bodde, 69, of Appleton, passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, October 9, 2014. Karen was born in Appleton on October 11, 1944, to the late Robert and Rita (Pitsch) Bodde.
    Karen was both a resident and proud treasurer of John Fischer Manor. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, reading, writing, watching T.V., and ice cream. Karen also delighted in spending time with her grandchildren.
    Karen is survived by her daughters; Sheila (Greg) Shackle, Sara MacDonald, and Serena Lila; grandchildren; Macy and Noelle Shackle; Toby, Chloe, and Alex MacDonald; and Isaiah Throm, Kylah Hoeck, and Tristan Lila; and siblings; Gene Bodde, Barbara (Gary) Seegers, Gloria (Dave) Faccio, Tony (Kim) Bodde, and Ken (Pat) Bodde. She is preceded in death by her parents.
    A Memorial Vigil celebrating Karen's life will be held at 5:45PM on Monday, October 13, 2014, at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond St., with Fr. Brian Wideman officiating. A gathering of friends and family will be held from 4:00PM, until the time of vigil, at the funeral home.
    In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (pancan.org) are appreciated.
    The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the ladies at John Fischer Manor for their friendship and support.

He was born April 12, 1956, in Kaukauna, son of Charles and Fri da (Borri) Bodde.Paul was employed at Appleton Coated Locks Mill. His love was his two daug hters and the time he spent with them. He enjoyed time with family, lov ed sports and especially fishing with his friend Mark Damro. He is surviv ed by his daughters Emily and Molly, Kaukauna; parents, Charles and Fri da Bodde, Kaukauna; sisters: Carla Schroeder, Wausau; Sharon (Ken) Hamme n, Appleton; Connie (Glen) Geurts, Kaukauna; one niece, Jenni Schroeder, D allas, Texas; nephews: Dan (Jacelyn) Schroeder, Wausau; Matthew and Andy G eurts, Kaukauna; aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by a brother-i n-law, Larry Schroeder; grandparents Andrew and Angelina Bodde and Vittor io and Emma Borri.Funeral mass will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Chur ch with Father Jack Mullarkey officiating. Burial in the parish cemeter y. Friends may call at Boettcher Family Funeral Home, Kaukauna, Tuesday fr om 4 to 7 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. and Wednesday at the chur ch from 10 a.m. until time of services.Dad, We love you. You were the best Dad anyone could ask for. You will alw ays be in our hearts and will never be forgotten.
