    Obituary:
    Wallace J. Luebke, 82, of 4422 Center Rd., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly Saturday morning, Nov. 17, 2007, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc. Wallace was born on March 8, 1925, on the family farm in the Town of Newton, son of the late John and Clara Aplin Luebke. He graduated from the Newtonburg public school and one year of high school. Wallace then began farming with his father, mother and brothers. Wallace was a musician with the "Jolly Farmhands" playing the accordion. On May 10, 1975, Wallace was married to the former Edna Hartzheim at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Menasha. He enjoyed playing sheepshead, traveling and playing his accordion at local nursing homes. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish.
    Survivors include his wife, Edna, Manitowoc; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert (Marilyn) Luebke, Fond du Lac; one brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law, Henry Hartzheim, Black Creek; Rita Burr, Downers Grove, Ill.; Viola Lemmers, Shiocton; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends survive.
    He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Kenneth Luebke.
    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2007, at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Grand Ave. site, 1416 Grand Ave., Manitowoc. The Rev. Monsignor Jim Vanden Hogen will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with entombment to follow at the Knollwood Mausoleum, Hwy 310, Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday, at the Jens Funeral Home & Crematory, 1122 S. 8th St., from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. and again on Wednesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. There will be a parish prayer service on Tuesday evening at the funeral home at 7 p.m. to end the visitation led by Deacon Alan Boeldt.
    The family would like to thank all who helped in the unexpected emergency situation that led to Wallace's untimely death on Saturday morning.

Edna (daughter of Hartzheim, Charles and Jochmann, Johanna V.) was born 2 May 1937, Harrison, Calumet, Wisconsin, USA; died 7 Jul 2010, Manitowoc, Manitowoc, Wisconsin, USA; was buried , Knollwood Mausoleum, Manitowoc, Wisconsin, USA.
