    Rupiper, MaeMae Rupiper, 88, of Green Bay, passed away Wednesday evening (June 9, 200 4) at Woodside Lutheran Home in Green Bay. She was born Dec. 12, 191 5, in Lena, Wis., the daughter of the late John and Anna (Kirk) Fait. S he had worked for many years at Larsen Canning Co. in Green Bay. On Apr il 19, 1939 she married Clarence Rupiper in Spruce, Wis. He preceded h er in death on Dec. 31, 2003. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Chu rch in Green Bay. Mae was an excellent baker. She loved her family, especi ally her grandchildren.Survivors include her three daughters, Gloria (Cy) Dernbach of Sturgeon B ay and their children, (Lt. Thomas (Sr. Chief Susan) Dernbach; Lt.-Comd er Timothy ( Ali) Dernbach and their children, Brittany and Beret; Dani el (Kate) Dernbach and their child, Gus; Kristin and Ted Blackwood and the ir children, Amanda and Hannah); daughter, Terry (Richard) Schneider of Gr een Bay and their children (Tara and Paul DeBruin and their children Cad en and Peyton; Sarah and Robert Hoenig; Catherine Schneider); and daughte r, Mary Cleeremans of Green Bay and her children (Jessica Cleeremans and J amie Cleeremans).She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant daughter, Beverl y, four brothers, and one sister.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 12, 2 004, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Green Bay with Msgr. Brian Colem an as celebrant. Burial will be made in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation w ill be held at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of ser vices at 11 a.m. A memorial fund has been established in her name. Hueh ns Funeral Home of Sturgeon Bay is assisting the family with arrangement s, (920) 743-5635.

    Gloria M. Dernbach, 72, of Sturgeon Bay, was called home Monday evening, January 20, 2014, at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay. She was born April 22, 1941, in Green Bay, the daughter of the late Clarence and Mae (Fait) Rupiper. Gloria graduated from St. Joseph Academy in Green Bay. On November 24, 1962, she married Sylvester Cy Dernbach at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Green Bay. Gloria had worked at Door County Hardware and the Sturgeon Bay Yacht Harbor until her retirement. Together, Gloria and Cy owned Davis Mortuary in Sturgeon Bay from 1988 until 2001, when they sold it to Todd and Renee Huehns. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and active at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, both in Sturgeon Bay. Gloria was active in Christian Mothers, Catholic Daughters, Business Women, Cub Scouts as a Den mother, Girl Scout Leader, and President and longtime board member of Neighbor to Neighbor. Her surviving family includes four children, Tom (Susan) of Bend, Oregon, Tim of San Diego, CA, Dan (Kate) of Fallbrook, CA, Kristin (Ted) Blackwood of Cambridge, WI; seven grandchildren, Brittany, Beret, Gus, Sam, Hannah, Emma, Amanda, Luke; two sisters, Terry (Richard) Schneider, and Mary Cleeremans of Green Bay; one sister-in-law, Barbara Dernbach of Marine City, MI; three brothers-in-law, Robert (Suzi) Dernbach of Appleton, George Greenwood of Kaukauna, and Mexico, and Al Lenss of St. Louis Park, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Cy (2008). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m, Monday, January 27, 2014, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Robert Stegmann and Fr. Anthony Birdsall concelebrating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m, Sunday, at Huehns Funeral Home and again on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the procession to church at 10:30 a.m. A Christian Mothers Rosary will be prayed at 3:45 p.m. Sunday afternoon at Huehns Funeral Home. A parish wake service will close the evening at 6:45 p.m. (Sunday). Gloria was a determined, independent woman, who fought many heath battles the last 20 years, and never let them slow or get her down. She knew the risks of her surgery, but was determined to fight; she now rests in the arms of God. Memorials may be made in her memory to Neighbor to Neighbor or St. John Bosco Catholic School.
