    BERNICE A. STADLER Black Creek Age 76, died Wednesday, August 11, 1999 at the Outagamie County Health Center. Bernice was born March 23, 1923 in Freedom, daughter of the late John and Ella (McCabe) Geenen. She was married June 4, 1946 to Ronald Stadler and he preceded her in death on August 11, 1999. Bernice assisted her husband, Ronald in farming on the Town of Ellington farm most of their married life, and was an avid vegetable gardener, floral gardener and had a great raspberry patch, and was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church, Mackville. She is survived by her son, Gary (Barb) Stadler, Appleton; three daughters: Bonnie (Wes) stevenson, Sr., Menasha; Joan (Richard) Klika, Menasha; and Pati (Jerry) Milheiser, Vernon, Connecticut; seven grandchildren, Eric and Andrea Stadler; Wes Jr., and Chris Stevenson; Trish Klika; Tony and Casey Milheiser; and by two great-grandchildren: Tyler Stevenson and Samantha Klika; two brothers: bob Geenen, Kaukauna; Don (Carol) Geenen, Appleton; three sisters: Coletta Bauer, Appleton; Mary (Floyd) Griesbach, Appleton; and Teresa Kemps, Kimberly. Bernice was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Marge (Louie) ... John Geenen, two brothers-in-law: Rollie Bauer and Ernie Kemps and a sister-in-law Sally Geenen. The Mass of the Christian Burial will be held Saturday, August 14, 1999 at 11 a.m. at St. Edward Catholic Church, State Highway 47, Mackville, with the Rev. Charles Brooks officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 4 until 8 p.m. with a prayer service to be held at 7:30 p.m. Friends will also be received at the church on Saturday, from 9 a.m. until the hour of service.
    A memorial fund is being established in her name.
    A special thanks to the staff of the Outagamie County Health Center for their care and assistance to the family of Bernice Stadler.

    Kimberly - Teresa Catherine Kemps, age 91, passed away on January 16, 2018 at Brewster Village, Appleton, Wisconsin, surrounded by her family. Teresa was born on January 9, 1927 in Freedom, Wisconsin, to John and Ella (McCabe) Geenen. She was married to Ernest John Kemps on September 10, 1949. They had five children and resided together in Kimberly, Wisconsin until his death on April 4, 1974.
    After Ernie's death, Teresa began a long career at St. Elizabeth's Hospital. She retired from St. Elizabeth's in 2007. In retirement Teresa served as a bailiff in the Outagamie County Court system and as a volunteer at St. Elizabeth's. Teresa was an active member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Kimberly and was deeply involved in the Cursillo as an organizer and mentor and frequently gave testimonials to those attending.
    Teresa is survived by her children, Janie (Jim) Kinder, Karen (Jim)
    Wesolowski, David (Joanne) Kemps, Kathy (Bob) Kemps-Mitchell, and Steve (Laurie) Kemps. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jason Evers, Jennie Evers, Trevor (Juliana) Wesolowski, Stephanie Wesolowski, Andy (Stacy) Kemps, Tim (Lisa) Kemps, Melissa (Brad) Zuleger, Matthew (Jacquie) Merckx, Kacie (Jon) Niemuth, Johnny Kemps, and Sam Kemps.
    She is further survived by her eleven great-grandchildren: Macie Jane Sisk; Cordelia Wesolowski; Reagan, Natalie and David Kemps; Evan and Alex Kemps; Zachary and Madelyn Zuleger; Kinley Niemuth; and, arriving soon, baby Merckx.
    Teresa is survived by two brothers and a sister-in-law, Robert Geenen and Donald (Carol) Geenen.
    She is also survived by her husband's family, Lucille Kempen, Irene (Harvey) Van Deraa, Gerald Vanderloop, Marlene Green, and Judy (Don) Shaw. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
    Teresa was preceded in death by her parents John and Ella Geenen; her sisters and their spouses, Coletta (Roland) Bauer, Margie (Louis) Kohler, Bernice (Ronald) Stadler, Mary (Floyd) Griesbach; two brothers, Frank Geenen and John Geenen; and a sister-in-law, Sally Geenen. She was also preceded in death by members of her husband's family, Marvin Kempen, Laverne VanderLoop and Charles Green.
    Visitation will take place at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 620 E. Kimberly Ave, Kimberly, Wisconsin on Monday, January 22nd from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral Liturgy at 11:00 AM with Monsignor Jim Vanden Hogan officiating. Private interment at Holy Name Cemetery.
    The family would like to express their gratitude to the staffs at Touchmark and Brewster Village for their loving care in Teresa's final years. In lieu of flowers, memorials received will be donated to Compassion International in Teresa's name.

    Mary Jane Griesbach, 81, passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at St. Joseph Residence in New London. Mary was born on February 7, 1929, to the late John and Ella (McCabe) Geenen in Freedom. She married Floyd Griesbach on June 25, 1948, he preceded her in death on May 19, 2003, and now they will be dancing the polka together again in heaven. She enjoyed gardening, her pets and spending time with her family. Mary was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
    Mary is survived by two daughters; Sharon (Alvin) Rathsack, Hortonville; Nancy (Larry) Strey, Hortonville; three grandchildren: Tina (Jeremy) Krueger, Brian (Sally) Rathsack, and Cory (Fiancee Amanda Bunkleman) Strey; great-grandchildren: Mason Krueger, Harris and Ella Rathsack; a sister Theresa Kemps, Kimberly; two brothers: Robert Geenen, Kaukauna; Donald (Carol) Geenen, Appleton; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

    A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary will be held on Monday, April 5, 2010, at 11 a.m. at ST. THOMAS MORE CATHOLIC CHURCH (1810 N. McDonald St., Appleton) with Fr. Gerald Falk officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of services at the Church. Burial will be in the St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery.
