    Obituary:
    Raymond "Ray" Suprise age 78 of Little Chute passed away peacefully February 8th 2015. He was the oldest child born to David and Lucille (Thompson) Suprise on December 10th 1936. Ray went into the army immediately after his graduation in 1955. He served in Japan for 2 years and also played football when he was overseas. He was honorably discharged in 1959.
    On November 5th 1966 he was united in marriage to Linda Main. He worked at different jobs as an industrial electrician until he made his career with Voith as a millwright until his retirement in 1999.One of Ray's long time loves was his hobby farm He raised sheep, pigs and horses He brought this love of his to his children by being involved in 4 H. As his family got older one of their things to do was to watch the Packer games together. In addition to his wife Linda (Main) Suprise. Ray is survived by four children, James Suprise (Holly Hurley), Terri (Kevin) Protsman, Jonathan (Dawn) Suprise, and Joseph (Jenny) Suprise and nine grandchildren, Ashten Suprise, Spencer Protsman, Abby Protsman, Marcus Protsman, Bryanna Seidl (Brandon Moder) Alyssa Surprise, Jared Surprise, Issiah VanderPas, and Brayden Cline.
    He is further survived by seven sisters, Jim Hillsberg, Janice (Art) Van Asten, Gail (William) Sphoer, Gloria Riehl, Doris (William) Herminath, Carol (Wayne) Fisher, Regina (Philip) Zuleger, Sherri (Art) Schuh. Further survived by Keith (Helen) Main, Mary-Lou Hooyman-Dorn, Joyce Plugger, Gene (Karen) Main, Donna Main, James Main, and Sally Piechoki.
    His parents, David and Lucile Suprise, preceded him in death, also brother Ronald (Kay) Suprise, sister Laverne "Sis" Hillsberg, brother-in-law, Les Riehl, Mother-in-law and father-in-law Clyde and Gladys Main, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Lila and Dean Strong, Donald Main, and James Plugger.
    Visitation and services will be held at Bethany Lutheran church in Kaukauna, Friday February 13th. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Services start at 11 and a luncheon to follow.

    Obituary:
    Laverne "Sis" M. Hillsberg, age 73, of Larsen passed away peacefully on March 7, 2011 at home with her husband and family by her side.
    She was born February 4, 1938, daughter of David and Lucille (Thompson) Suprise.
    On February 2, 1957 she married James Hillsberg at St. Dennis Catholic Church in Shiocton.
    Sis was employed at Miller Electric until her retirement.
    She enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint, cooking, baking and working out in the garden. She had been a member of the Drifters snowmobile club in Larsen for many years.
    The most important thing to her was time spent with her family. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandma, great grandma, and sister.
    In addition to her husband Jim, she is survived by four children: Helen Peterman, Fremont, Donald Hillsberg, Larsen, David Hillsberg, Wild Rose, Bonnie (Steve) La Dow, Oneida; grandchildren: Mandi (Grant) Goodness, Molly Peterman, Brianna Hillsberg; two great grandchildren: Addison and Macy; two step grandchildren: Scott and Shannon La Dow.
    She is further survived by a brother Raymond (Linda) Suprise, Shiocton; seven sisters: Janice (Art) VanAsten, Wild Rose, Gail (William) Spoehr, Kaukauna, Gloria (Les) Riehl, Binghampton, Doris (William) Herminath, Shiocton, Carol (Wayne) Fischer, Sherwood, Regina (Philip) Zuleger, Appleton, Sheryl (Art) Schuh, Iron River. Further survived by a brother-in-law Duane (Beverly) Hillsberg, Green Bay, and a sister-in-law Pat Frost, Neenah.
    She was a warm and loving aunt to all the nieces and nephews in the family.
    Sis was preceded in death by her father; a brother Ronald (Kay) Suprise; three brothers-in-law: Eugene (Arlene) Hillsberg, Jerry Hillsberg, LeRoy Frost.
    Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Friday, March 11, 2011, from 10 AM until services at 1 PM with Pastor Phil Engle officiating. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton.

    Obituary:
    Don Hillsberg, age 58, of Larsen, died at home on Sunday, September 3, 2017. He was born October 9, 1958, to James and Laverne "Sis" (Suprise) Hillsberg. Don was a carpenter by trade and could build anything. Each of his siblings has evidence of his amazing carpentry skills in their homes, as do many of his friends and customers. He loved cooking and gardening, growing everything you can imagine, canning what he grew, and also making his own wine. Don enjoyed raising animals, hunting and fishing, and a laid back style of living.
    Don was a good father and brother, and enjoyed being a new grandfather. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Brianna Immel-Hillsberg and Jerred Friday; grandson, Jace; two sisters and a brother, Helen Peterman, Dave Hillsberg, Bonnie (Steve) La Dow; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, many good friends, and his dog, Duke.
    Preceding Don in death were his parents, Jim and Sis Hillsberg.
    Per Don's wishes cremation has taken place and a private gathering of family and friends was held.
