    Briggs, Mary M.Mary M. Briggs, of Appleton, age 103, passed away peacefully at the Renn es Health Center on Saturday, April 1, 2006. She was born in Little Chu te on March 1, 1903, to Philip and Hattie Molitor. Mary graduated from Lit tle Chute High School and was employed at Kimberly-Clark until her marria ge to Albert Briggs in 1926. He preceded her in death in 1985. After the ir marriage, Mary and Albert lived in Kimberly, Neenah and Niagra Falls, N Y.She was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters in Little Chute a nd a Charter Member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Kimberly. Mary w as affectionately referred to as "Minnie" by her godchild, Patt. Mary w as a very gracious and friendly person to anyone who met her. Her comme nt of "thank you very much" and little laugh and smile endeared her to eve ryone. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her throughout h er very long and fruitful life.Mary is survived by nieces: Florence Koehn, Little Chute; Olive (Gerald) D erus, Appleton; and Patt Massonet, Appleton; and nephews: Tom, Jim and B ob (Joan) Molitor, all of Appleton.In addition to her husband, Mary was preceded in death by her father and m other, a sister, Anna Vanden Heuvel, and a brother, Matt Molitor.The family wishes to thank the staff at the Rennes Health Center for the e xcellent care Mary received during her last days.A memorial service for Mary will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 8, 200 6, at Appleton's Highland Memorial Park, 3131 N. Richmond Avenue. The Re v. Robert Karuhn will officiate.
