    Alice Weber, age 95, of Menasha, passed away Monday, May 27, 2013, at Oakridge Gardens Nursing Center. Alice was born February 12, 1918, in Appleton, the daughter of Charles C. and Irene (Hawley) Gear. She had two siblings: Sybil and Margaret (Midge). She graduated from Menasha High School in 1935. Alice married the love of her life, J. Gordon Weber on April 23, 1938, at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Menasha. She worked at Vals Beauty Salon until the birth of her first son and then became a full time homemaker. The Webers had four children; Chuck, Barb, Bob and Jim. During her high school years she was a proud member of the Menasha High School Band. In 1931 the band took first honors in the marching contest at the Nationals in Tulsa, OK and in 1933 the band performed at the World Fair in Chicago. At one of these events they were directed by John Philip Sousa. Alice was a Pink Lady at Theda Clark Medical Center since January 25, 1971 and a life member of their auxiliary. She knit many baby sweaters for the gift shop at the hospital. Alice was a member of the DAR, the Menasha Homemakers (in which she held several offices), and the Catholic Order of Foresters. She loved music, knitting, crafts, reading, baking, cooking, watching the Green Bay Packers and spending time with her family. Her favorite saying was it could be worse. Survivors include her four children: Chuck (Jean) Weber, Chaska, MN; Barb (Ken) Couillard, Appleton; Bob (Kris) Weber, Surprise, AZ; and Jim (Lisa) Weber, Green Bay; eleven grandchildren: Deanna (Carl) Prine, Bryan (Shanna) Weber, Todd (Julie) Pyszora, David Pyszora, Jason (Stephanie) Weber, Curt (Bobbie Jo) Weber, Craig (Jennifer) Weber, James Weber, Allison Weber, and Jordan Weber; two step grandchildren: Kathy (Jon) Willis and Kerri (Gary) Jepson; 13 great-grandchildren: Ella and Cole Weber; Emily and Rachel Pyszora; Jacob, Josh and Joey Weber; Kara and Ben Weber; Bryce and Conner Weber; and Wyatt and Riddik Aspenson; and three step great-grandchildren: Arron and Emma Willis, and Keither Jepson. She is further survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gordon, on July 20, 1981; her grandson, Richard Ricky Pyszora; her mother and father-in-law, Edith (Allanson) Weber Collins and Joseph Weber; step father-in-law, Grant Collins; two sisters and their husbands: Sybil (Jerry) Felton and Margaret Midge (Raymond) Sensenbrenner; and sister-in-law and husband, Alice (Edward) Lingnowski. The funeral mass for Alice will be celebrated Monday, June 3, 2013, 11:30 a.m, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with Fr. Larry Abler, OFM Cap. officiating. Visitation will begin Monday at 10:00 a.m. until the hour of mass at the church. Interment will be in St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah. A memorial in Alices name is being established. The family would like to thank the staff at Gardenview Assisted Living and Oakridge Gardens for the wonderful care and compassion they gave to Alice and her family the past years.

    Richard L. "Ricky" PyszoraAppletonAge 34, passed away unexpectedly Monday, March 6, 2000 at, Theda Clark Med ical Center. He was born April 2, 1965, in Neenah, son of Ronald Pyszora a nd Barbara (Weber) Couillard. Ricky worked at Valley Packaging and Pappa 's Cafe in Neenah. He was very involved with Special Olympics. He loved t he Green Bay Packers, especially Brett Favre.Survivors include his father, Ronald (Debbie) Pyszora, Neenah; his mothe r, Barbara (Ken) Couillard, Appleton; two brothers, Todd (Julie) Pyszor a, Neenah; David (Mary Beth) Pyszora, Appleton; maternal grandmother, Ali ce Weber; four step sisters, Laurie (Tom) Olson, Hurley; Jody Behnke, Mena sha; Kathy (John) Willis, Denmark; Kerri Beschta, New London; a niece, Emi ly Pyszora, Waukesha; aunts and uncles, Andrea Spears, Menasha; Pete and M arcia Pyszora, Appleton; Chuck and Jeanne Weber, Chaska, Minnesota; Bob a nd Kris Weber, Menasha; Jim and Lisa Weber, Green Bay; and numerous cousin s. He was preceded in death by a maternal grandfather, Gordon Weber, and p aternal grandparents, Andrew and Jackie Pyszora.Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 8, 2000, at 6 P.M., at Mena sha's Westgor Funeral Home with Jeff Vanden Heuvel, pastoral associate, of ficiating. Interment will be in St. Margaret's Cemetery. Visitation wi ll be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 P.M. until the ho ur of service, and again after the service from 6:30 to 8:30 P.M. In li eu of flowers, memorials may be made to Special Olympics.The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of Theda Cla rk Medical Center for their extraordinary care of Ricky.Ricky, your family and friends will love you and miss you forever.
