Kater, Scott R.Scott R. Kater, of Little Chute, age 55, passed away suddenly on Sunday, A pril 10, 2005. He was born in Niles, Michigan on February 26, 1950 to Rich ard and Gwendolyn (Davis) Kater. Scott worked for 26 years at Metso Pap er in Appleton. He was a member of the National Horseshoe Pitchers Associa tion and loved playing at Kamps Kovered Kourts in Combined Locks. Scott al so enjoyed hunting, horseshoes, scuba diving, and traveling.He will be sadly missed by his children: Audra (Scott) Peters of Freedo m; Jeremy (Dede) Kater of Freedom; mother of his children: Roseann Kat er of Appleton; mother and step father: Gwen (Nicholas) Fulbright Sr. of F lorida; grandchildren: Cassandra, Carly and Alicia Peters, Colton and Mitc hell Kater, niece and nephew: Trina and Ryan Kater, and special friend: De bbie Hietpas.He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Kater, a brother, Craig Ka ter and grandma, Evelyn Hibberd.The Funeral Service will be on Friday, April 15, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. at t he Valley Funeral Home, with Deacon Rick Simon officiating. The visitati on will be on Friday at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of t he service. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park.
