    Obituary:
    Hoolihan, Sister Eligius, Sister Eligius Hoolihan, age 102, a member of the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity, died Monday afternoon, December 29, 2008, at Holy Family Convent, Manitowoc.
    The former Irene Hoolihan was born April 25, 1906, in Kaukauna, daughter of the late Peter and Ellen (Vandehey) Hoolihan. She entered the Convent in 1921 and professed her vows in 1924. Sister Eligius earned a Bachelor of Music Degree and a Master of Music Degree from Chicago Conservatory, Chicago, Illinois. Sister Eligius served as a teacher of music at Guardian Angels, Oneida, St. John, Antigo, Wisconsin; St. Willibrord, Chicago, Illinois; St. Anne, Escanaba, St. Ambrose, Ironwood, St. Frances de Sales, Manistique, St. Francis Xavier, Petoskey, Michigan; St. Mary, Delaware, St. Nicholas, Zanesville, St. Benedict, Cambridge, Ohio and San Roque, Santa Barbara, California. She also served as a teacher of music and administrator of Holy Family Conservatory, Manitowoc. Since 1996, she had been a resident of St. Rita Health Center at the Motherhouse. She is a member of the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity.
    Survivors include the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 3, 2009, at Holy Family Convent Chapel, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Samuel D. Jadin, O.Praem with burial at Holy Family Convent Cemetery, Manitowoc.
    The family will greet relatives and friends at Holy Family Convent, Manitowoc, from 4 to 8 p.m Friday, January 2, 2009. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. at Holy Family Convent Chapel.
    The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is assisting with funeral arrangements.
