    Lucina Wydeven, age 97, was called home to Jesus on Wednesday morning, February 26, 2014. Lucina was born in the Town of Vandenbroek on February 6, 1917, daughter of the late William and Katie (DeBruin) Kobussen. On September 7, 1935, she married Vincent "Bink" Wydeven; the couple shared many years of marriage until Vince's death in 2003.
    Lucina lived for her family - there was nothing more important to her. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her children, grandchildren, and their friends. She also had the gift of making everyone feel special. Her generosity and grace will always be remembered.
    She is survived by four children: Sharon Gracyalny of Kaukauna; Jim (Judy) Wydeven of Little Chute; Lynn (Joe) Strick of Combined Locks; and Kay (Duane) DeGroot of Freedom; a foster daughter: Barbara (Frank) Gifford of New London; a foster son: Rod (Mary) Delfosse of Darboy; her loving grandchildren: Mary, Kris, Katie, David, Leann, Danny, Jessie, Brenda, Billy, Mark, David, Greg, Julie, James, Angie, John, Tricia, Donnie, and Adam; and also Tom's wife, Kathy Van Toll. There are also many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
    Lucina was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Vincent, daughters Rebecca Phillips and Beverly (Jerry) Van Toll, a son-in-law Stan Gracyalny, grandsons Alan Wydeven and Tom Van Toll, a great-granddaughter Amie Van Berkel, and her siblings: Albert Kobussen, Annacille (Henry) Gajewski, Robert (Gloria) Kobussen, Eileen (Art) Tennessen, Gladys (Jim) Tennessen, and an infant brother, Eugene.
    The funeral liturgy for Lucina will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at HOLY SPIRIT CATHOLIC CHURCH, 600 E. Kimberly Avenue in Kimberly, with Fr. Robert Kollath officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Family and friends are welcome to gather at the church on Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.     The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to everyone at Oakridge Gardens Care Center. Mom lived with you for more than seven years, and we know you loved her like she was your very own. We will never forget the love, care and compassion you gave to all of us. Mom had angels everywhere in her life - many of them work at Oakridge Gardens.

    Margaret "Peg" Ponfil, Village of Harrison, age 69, died Friday June 6, 2014 at her home. She was born in Little Chute on October 29, 1944 to the late Gloria (VanDenElsen) Kobussen-Hash and Robert Kobussen. Peg married John Ponfil on October 29, 1966 at Holy Name of Jesus Parish in Kimberly. Peg was an avid reader but when she wasn't reading, she was doing anything creative. Card-making, handmade crafts, cooking, and baking. Everyone loved receiving her creations as much as she enjoyed making them. Peg was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church and her daily devotions were an integral part of her life.
    Peg is survived by her husband of 47 years, John; children: Johnna (Todd) Brown, Black Creek; Jodi (Paul) Bartel, Combined Locks; Melissa Ponfil, Appleton; and Molly Ponfil, Kimberly; grandchildren: Steffani and Samantha Brown, Lukas and Brynn Bartel; sibings: Eugene "Butch" (Laura) Kobussen, Mary Jo (Lee) Hammen, Debbie Herbst, Sue (Rob) Ristau, Patricia (Robert) Hoffman, Rick (Cindy) Kobussen and Dan Kobussen; brothers-in-law Joe Ponfil (Roxy) and Jerry Ponfil. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    In addition to her parents, Peg was preceded in death by her daughter, Stephanie Sue; step father, Robert Hash; and John's parents, John and Florence Ponfil.
    Visitation will be held Monday June 9, 2014 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main St. Little Chute) from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue Tuesday at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (323 Pine St. Little Chute) from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Ronald Beliltz will officiate. Committal St. John Cemetery.     Thomas A. Tennessen, Kaukauna, age 69, died peacefully in his sleep on Friday, November 10, 2017. He was born in Kaukauna on December 9, 1947 to the late Arthur and Eileen (Kobussen) Tennessen. Tom was a driven man. He worked at Haen Meat Packing through his high school years. After graduation, he started drywalling and plastering, first with his father-in-law at Promer Drywall and Plastering and then on his own at Tennessen Drywall and Plastering. He purchased Orv's Pizza in 1987 and operated it until 1999. During his working years, Tom also ran a charter fishing business on Lake Michigan. Many fish were caught while out on his boat, Plumpy.
    Tom loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He hunted locally and took many trips to Canada and out West. Tom enjoyed his Saturday morning coffee with his good friend Pete and conversations with Mavis. He cherished his family and was a man of great faith.
    Tom is survived by his wife, Gloria (LeBrun-Robertson) Tennessen; son: Scott (Kim) of Kimberly; grandchildren: Ty, Tia and Trey; Gloria's children: Lisa (Paul) Konshak of De Pere; Joseph (Niki) Robertson of Pearland, TX; and Sara (Andy) Springer of Chicago; Gloria's grandchildren: Samantha (fiance Wil Rowe), Connor, Cal and Trey Konshak, Brett, Reese and Brooklyn Robertson, Grace and Noah Springer; Scott's mother, Marlene (Promer) Tennessen; siblings: Cheryl (Bob) Smith, Mike (Ellen) Tennessen, Faye Beach, Tony (Brenda) Tennessen and Jill (Roger) Manders; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Ray (Mary) LeBrun, Sr. Doris Jean LeBrun, Dorothy (Jim) Euclide, Eunice Pozza, Marilyn (Larry) Gillis, Don (Jan LeBrun), Mary (Jerry) Gandt, Roger (Diana) LeBrun, JoAnn (Steve) Madson and Samantha Keenan. He is further survived by his Uncle Bob; close friend Mary; nieces, nephews, and many friends.
    In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Bob and Ethel Promer; brothers, Bill and Jack (infant) Tennessen; Gloria's daughter, Carla Robertson; and brothers and sister-in-law: Frank Beach, Joseph Pozza, Ann LeBrun and James Keenan.
    Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at ST. KATHARINE DREXEL PARISH - ST. MARY CHURCH (119 W. 7th Street, Kaukauna) beginning at 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:30 a.m. The Rev. Msgr. James Vanden Hogen will officiate with Deacon Steve Vande Hey assisting. Committal St. Mary Cemetery, Kaukauna. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established for Polycystic Kidney Research.
    Tom's family would like to send a special thank you to the health professionals that helped him through the years, especially Dr. Marie Weber and Seymour Chiropractic.
    Tom will be greatly missed by all that knew him. He touched the life of everyone he met.

    William J. Tennessen, Little Chute, age 56, died January 24, 2016. He was born in Kaukauna to the late Arthur and Eileen (Kobussen) Tennessen. Bill worked in the painting business for over 30 years. He started working for Custom Painting, with his brother Mike and most recently, owned and operated Bill Tennessen Painting and was known as the "Happy Painter." He enjoyed going up north to Perch Lake to hunt and fish with his son, Travis and other family members. Bill also enjoyed attending Emily and Travis' sporting events, and watching the Packers, Badgers and Brewers with family and friends. In his earlier years, Bill was passionate about designing and installing his own landscaping.
    Bill is survived by his children: Emily (Ben) Hermus of Little Chute and Travis (girlfriend Morgan Holz) Tennessen of Kaukauna; his children's mother: Lois (Ed) Zwick-Perez; and his newest blessing, grandson Daniel Hermus. He is further survived by his siblings: Tom (Gloria) Tennessen, Cheryl (Bob) Smith, Mike (Ellen) Tennessen, Fay Beach, Tony (Brenda) Tennessen and Jill Manders; as well as special cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
    In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Frank Beach.

    Thomas V. Van Toll, age 48, of Kimberly, died peacefully, with his family at his side, Thursday morning, May 10, 2007. He was born July 5, 1958, to Gerald D. and Beverly W. Van Toll, in Kimberly, where he was a resident all of his life and graduated from Kimberly High School in 1977. Tom had been employed by Thilmany Pulp and Paper for 9 years, until ill health forced his retirement. He enjoyed building muscle cars, hunting, spending time at the cottage, boating, water skiing, but his family meant everything to him. Tom was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, Kimberly, where he was an usher and a catechist.
    He is survived by his wife, Kathy L. (Hennessey) Van Toll, whom he married June 1, 1984; four children: John Van Toll and his fiancee, Ann, Oshkosh; Judy Opsteen, Kimberly; Jerry Van Toll, Kimberly; Michael Van Toll, Kimberly; two grandchildren, Clayton and Mackenzi Opsteen; his parents, Gerald D. and Beverly W. Burial will be in Holy Name Cemetery. Friends may call at the church, from 9:30 a.m. Monday until the time of the mass. A memorial fund is being established.
