    JERRY CALLAHAN, OLD RESIDENT, IS DEAD Kaukanna - Jerry Callahan, 58, died at 2:40 Saturday afternoon at his home on Depot-st. He is survived by his widow and five children. Mrs. Eli Lip- s?e, Chicago: Jerry D. Callahan.Prescott, Ariz., Steve, Kaukauna, Helen, Kaukauna and Regina, Chicago. One grandchild also survives. Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning in Holy Cross church. Burial will be in the family lot at Wrightstown. Mr. Callahan had been a resident of Kaukauna for 38 years. He came to this country from Ireland when he was about 18 years of age and after living for a short time In New York and Chicago, came here.

    FORMER KAUKAUNA GIRL IS DEAD IN CHICAGO Kaukauna - Mrs. E. Lipsieck, 30,formerly Miss Celia Callahan of this city, died early Wednesday morning in a Chicago hospital, according to word received here Wednesday by her mother. Mrs. Jerry Callahan, 401 Depot st. Death was due to chronic appendicidis. Mrs. Lipseck is survived by her widower,one son, Robert; two brothers, David and Steve, and two sisters: Helen & Regina, all of this city. Mrs. Lipseck was born and raised in Kaukauna. She had married about seven years ago and had lived in Chicago since. Funeral services were to have been held in Chicago, but plans were changed as the body will be taken to Wrightstown Saturday morning.

    Kankauna - Funeral services for Jerry Callahan. of this city, who died at the National Soldiers Home in Milwaukee last Wednesday, were held at 9 o'clock Saturday morning from Holy Cross church with the Rev. Father Lochman in charge of the services Bearers were Marshal and Amay
    Bayorgeon, Arthur Koehm,Carl Rante, Raymond McCarty and
    Anton Haen.
    Interment was made in the cemetery at Wrightstown. Military service and a final salute were given for the young man who had fought in the world war and had seen many months of actual service "Over There." He had been gassed while in action.

Rev. P. J. Loehman was in charge of the services and interment was in the Catholic cemetery at "Wrightstown. Mr. Callahan was born in Kaukauna and lived here all his life.
